Poster.The sky is quite yellow but faded into a darker almost red colour on the outside of the poster. The yellow colour may be associated with the idea of an infection.

The poster has the background image of a destroyed and empty city, this gets across the idea of world wide extinction.

There is a clear colour theme. Dark and a neutral creamy/yellow like colour. Even his clothes are a creamy colour

There is also a lot of dark shadows towards the bottom of the poster. It is almost like the features character is walking from the light into the darkness. This idea may draw the reader in to watch the film.

Magazine Front CoverThe film magazine features the same character again with a weapon in his hand. This presents the idea that the film is based very much upon fast paced action with lots of fighting.

Both the poster and magazine front cover share the same facial appearance on the main character. The character looks very worried.

The magazine front cover also has dark edges. The poster has darkness around the bottom. This kind of represents that the main character is the light, he is the hope.

Film TrailerThe film trailer for I am legend shares some synergy with the poster and magazine cover, but not as much as I

expected. There is repeated shots showing the extinction of New York. This is very similar to the poster where the background shows a destroyed city.

The second part of synergy the film trailer shares is that there is a lot of darkness. Frequent dark transitions and scenes appear throughout the film trailer.
