Enjoy more safety and less stress on the road. The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead.

The New i20 now also features Hyundai SmartSense, our cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems for more safety and peace of mind. From automatically braking to avoid a collision and helping you stay in your lane, to automatically switching the high beam headlights on and off for better visibility, the New i20 is designed to protect you and your passengers.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead. It initially warns the driver visually and acoustically, then it controls the brake according to the collision danger stage and applies maximum braking force to avoid a collision. The system is activated when a vehicle is sensed in front of the car, operating at speeds of 10 km/h or above.

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) LKA alerts the driver of unsafe movements at over 60 km/h by sensing the car’s position. It warns acoustically and visually before inducing corrective steering to guide the driver back to a safe position.

High Beam Assist (HBA) High Beam Assist detects oncoming vehicles as well as vehicles in the same lane ahead at night. By changing from high beam to low beam it improves safety and visibility during nighttime.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW) This standard feature raises safety by continuously monitoring and analysing driving patterns. When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, DAW gets the driver’s attention with an audible alert and pop-up message suggesting a break.

Extra roomy trunk with 60:40 split-rear seats.

Leaves room to think. In our thinking, space isn’t a luxury. It’s a must. That’s why the New i20 provides some of the best legroom in its class, with outstanding roominess for five adults. Or if you need to load something bulkier – the 60:40 split-rear seats can easily be folded completely flat. This increases the trunk capacity from 326 litres to 1042 litres (VDA), which gives you a whole lot of uncompromised space.

Get comfortable in style. The New i20 offers a winning combination of outstanding roominess and a stylish choice of interiors for a look that is as fresh inside as it is outside. The new Red and Blue Point interior patterns feature accent stitching on the seats, steering wheel and shifter for an even more distinctive look. Offering space, style and refinement that is hard to find in a compact car, the cabin exudes a high-quality atmosphere. The sporty heated steering wheel features ergonomically positioned controls so you can stay connected and in control.

Shifts gears smoothly. And mind-sets. People used to think you needed a big engine to get good performance. That mind-set has shifted. One of the highlights of the New i20 is the sporty and economical 1.0 T-GDI engine, which delivers 120 PS and 171 Nm and provides a perfect combination of dynamism and efficiency. It is available with a new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), which combines the fuel efficiency and driving fun of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic transmission.
