•  Weekly Meetup - Join us every Friday night at Cafe 153 at Bridge Street to drink coffee, socialize,

and plan events. Our meetups begin at 6:00PM and usually last until 8:00PM.

•  Tabling @ Earth Fare – Saturday, April 7th, Noon – 2PM – Earth Fare on University Drive

•  Potluck – Sunday, April 8th @ 4:00PM– Lucy’s house in Madison, please call us at 907-687-9379 for

the address - Our theme this month is Spring Greens & BBQ. Please bring a *vegan* dish to sharewith about 8 people. (Ready-made vegan food from Earth Fare is always welcome if you run out of 

time to cook! Look for the yellow tags that say Vegan in the deli section, bakery, and on the hot

 bar.)

•  Outreach Event @ UAH – Tuesday, April 10th , 7PM – 8PM – Frank Franz Hall- Information, Cooking

Demo, raffle for door prizes

•  Movie Night – Thursday, April 12th @ 6PM - Main Library’s Auditorium on the 1stFloor - Join us for

a screening of the movie The Milk Documentary. We also encourage those who can to bring a

*vegan* dish to share.

•  Book Club – Tuesday, April 17th @ 6:30PM – Lucy’s House in Madison, call us at 907-687-9379 for

the address –This month’s book is The World Peace Diet by Will Tuttle, Ph.D 

•  Peaceful Demonstration at the Circus– April 26-29 – Stop by any time. This is a joint effort withAREA.

Earth Day EventsWear your favorite vegan shirt or button to these events and represent compassion for animals and theenvironment.

•  Earth Day at City Hall – Friday, April 13th, 11AM -1PM – Stop by City Hall to register forHuntsville’s Citywide Great American Cleanup & Beautification Day and pick up your free: gladtrash bags, tree, hot dog or burger (veggie dogs and burgers will also be available), and free water.

•  Green Living Expo – Thursday, April 19th, 10AM – 3PM – Alabama A&M Agribition Center –HEBNI Nutrition Consultants, screening of film GROW!, No charge, but donations of canned goodsrequested.

•  Earth Day with Operation Green Team at Hays Nature Preserve – Saturday, April 21st, 10AM –2PM – More than 70 earth-friendly exhibitors/vendors will have informative exhibits and

demonstrations throughout the day. Trees will be given to the first 1,000. Farmer’s Market, Chef Will, Kids’ activities. FREE. – Huntsville Vegans will have a table at this event. Set up is by 9:30AM.Please let us know if you’d like to volunteer to sit at our table, help set up, talk to the public, etc.

Thursdays @ 6:00PM – Starbucks, 2003 Whitesburg Drive South.

•  AVRAL Rally @ Alabama Courthouse – Tuesday, April 3rd, 1-2PM – “Calling ALL Alabama Voters

for Responsible Animal Legislation (AVRAL) members and anyone else who is interested! A very

important rally to show our support of animal friendly bills! We need EVERY member there in full

force! We need our AVRAL army in tshirts, with signs and banners!”
