OverviewHuawei and Accenture have come together to develop and market innovative solutions to address customer requirements in enterprise information and communications technology (ICT) market. The two companies have combined capabilities to introduce the Enterprise Private Cloud solution designed to help simplify technology selection and delivery, with flexible commercial models designed to reduce total cost of ownership.

ICT Industry Dynamics An increasingly complex IT landscape is presenting a number of challenges for organizations to manage resources and assets and operate efficiently. Data centers are reaching capacity through tactical just-in-time deployments and inefficient allocation of disparate resources. Management tools are leaving these resources underutilized and over-provisioned, while at the same time more capacity is being purchased. Lengthy application and infrastructure deployment cycles, combined with manual provisioning routines result in business loads that are not able to dynamically adjust to demand in a flexible and efficient manner. Added to that are complicated compliance regulations in place for managing and retaining customer data.

The solution combines SAP® S/4 HANA integrated on the enterprise private cloud infrastructure with leading consulting and deep industry knowledge and experience. It adopts the Accenture agile data center blueprint which uses Huawei’s best-of-breed technologies and key business processes.

The solution is comprised of four fundamental modules: Virtualization: Leveraging virtualization can help drive higher levels of utilization, thus maximizing an organization’s return on investment in IT spending. Over time,

greater workload can migrate to a virtualized infrastructure rather than it being deployed onto dedicated servers.

High speed, virtualized network: A high speed, virtualized, network in the data center will increase flexibility in architecture and migration to private cloud, and will move workloads more easily as demands evolve.

Automation and orchestration: Automation and orchestration will help ensure consistency in delivery and help decrease costs.

Metering and billing: Metering of services can improve cost transparency, reduce over-provisioning, and free up underutilized computing and storage capacity.

Huawei and Accenture offer a comprehensive Enterprise Cloud Solution which brings together:

Consulting and systems integration services: Consulting and SI services offered by Accenture include cloud application transformation services, agile application platform services, business focused cloud strategy, cloud assessment and planning, integration and application customization.

Software: The solution SAP® S/4 HANA adopts Accenture’s agile data center blueprint which uses Huawei’s best-of-breed technologies and integrated business processes. It also includes Dashboard on SAP® S/4 HANA, which is an interactive application allowing users to navigate the dashboard interface and data, and Mobility on SAP S/4 HANA, which demonstrates mobility capabilities run on the Enterprise Private Cloud.

Infrastructure: This component is offered by Huawei and Accenture. FusionCube, is Huawei’s pre-integrated solution designed to simplify deploying a powerful, virtualized IT infrastructure. Huawei ManageOne is an end-to-end data center management solution. Together they deliver Accenture’s Agile On-Premise IaaS architecture.
