A hormone, which is also known as a chemical messenger, is produced and sent out by the endocrine glands. They are transported to the body by the bloodstream and perform different functions.
What is ahormone?
Oxytocin is known as a love hormone because it goes far beyond just mother-
child connections. It also bonds intimate relationships and plays a
strong role in sexual interaction. It isalso released during hugging and

The hormone Oxytocin has best been known for inducinglabor.It’s also associated with maintaining relationships, humanbonding, and mother and childconnecting.Oxytocin is also responsible formilk ejection during lactation, contractions during birth, and isreleased during sexual interactions.
Oxytocin is produced in the Pituitary Gland, which is attachedto the Hypothalamus in the brain.
The Pituitary Gland is the base of
the brain and sends signals to other
glands to produce certain hormones.
Overall, hormones are in our everyday life.
