1 Introduction

This document is for customers who are interested in attaching external SAS shared storage enclosuresto an HP c-Class BladeSystem enclosure. General implementation guidelines and configurationexamples are provided for deploying a solution centered around a c-Class enclosure with serverblades, SAS mezzanines and interconnect devices, and external SAS storage enclosures. To roundout the solution, MSL Tape Libraries and Tape Autoloaders are also included. This document assumesthat all deployments use high-availability installation, cabling, and configuration strategies.

The following topics are included:

Device and system information recorded in these worksheetsis used when initially installing and configuring the solution, and will be helpful for troubleshootingpurposes. Because the number of devices differ for each deployment, print or copy pages as needed.

Getting startedTo help you successfully implement this installation in your environment, be sure to do the following:• Locate a workstation with a CD-ROM drive and access to the Internet, for reading component-

specific user documents from the CD or HP website associated with the component.• Prepare the site for the power and cooling needs of the solution and its components. (See the user

documents for your c-Class BladeSystem Enclosure.)• Use the worksheets in this guide to record important information about your solution and its com-

ponents. (Appendix B).• Identify all of the components you plan to include in the solution, whether newly arrived and in

boxes or already installed and in use.• Review the QuickSpecs for the P700m mezzanine , 3Gb SAS BL switch, and MSA2012sa to make

sure that your planned configuration, including number of servers, is supported.• Plan to update firmware on all devices in the solution; devices in this solution may require a firmware

update. Prepare for and include this step when installing the devices. When updating firmwareon MSA2012sa array enclosures, make sure to complete the update before connecting the MSAto the switch.

HP BladeSystem c-Class EnclosuresThe HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosure serves as the host for a variety of common form factorcomponents. The architecture uses scalable device bays (for server or storage blades) and interconnectbays (for interconnect modules providing fabric connectivity) that help to scale up or scale out theBladeSystem infrastructure.

Each HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosure includes redundant power supply and cooling fan modules,plus the Onboard Administrator module and Insight Display diagnostic LCD panel for setup andmaintenance. Redundant components and a nonstop mid-plane keep everything up and running attop performance. In addition, HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures use thermal logic technology tosave on power and cooling.

Insight Display wizards, Onboard Administrator software, and Virtual Connect architecture allow youto set up and maintain the system, and facilitate adding, replacing, and recovering servers and othercomponents with ease.

HP offers two c-Class enclosure models to match the needs of small and large environments: the c3000and c7000.

HP BladeSystem c-Class Server BladesAn HP c-Class Server Blade is a complete server that slides into an HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosure,in contrast to a server that is mounted in a rack. The great advantage of blade architecture is the easyaddition of more server blades to your environment.

The HP BladeSystem c-Class Enclosures support server blade models that are built in standardizedform factors, referred to as half-height (4U) or full-height (8U). High-density (also referred to asdouble-density) server blades are available, with two servers housed in the same form factor as ahalf-height server blade.

ProLiant Server BladesHP ProLiant c-Class server blades share the same features and design standards of traditionalrack-mounted ProLiant servers. A variety of server blade models is available, each with differentfeatures, such as using different processors, number of processors included, memory type, andmaximum amount of supported memory.

Important tips• Compatibility dependencies exist between components. See the QuickSpecs for your existing or

potential components to confirm compatibility. QuickSpecs are available for each component onthe HP BladeSystem website: http://www.hp.com/go/bladesystem.

• The number of processors, DIMM slots, adapter and mezzanine slots, and other features differ forserver blade models.

• The maximum number of servers allowed to access an MSA2012sa is 32, whether housed in oneor two c-Class enclosures. Type of server blade is not relevant; the maximum is 32.

• High-density server blades have unique requirements compared to other server blades, including:• When an enclosure is populated with high-density server blades, 32 servers are housed in the

c-Class enclosure compared to 16 servers when using other server blades.• A P700m mezzanine card must be installed on both servers of the high-density server blade.• When an enclosure is populated with high-density server blades, four 3Gb SAS BL switches

must be installed in the enclosure.• Servers 1 through 16 (installed in device bays 1 though 8 of the enclosure) are automatically

routed through the switches installed in interconnect bays 5 and 6.• Servers 17 through 32 (installed in device bays 9 though 16 of the enclosure) are automat-

ically routed through the switches installed in interconnect bays 7 and 8.

• Cabling between the four 3Gb SAS BL switches and the MSA2012sa controllers is illustratedin Configuration with high-density servers.

HP P700m SAS Mezzanine cardsThe HP P700m SAS mezzanine card is HP's first PCI-Express SAS smart array card that supportsexternal shared storage for c-Class enclosures. The P700m is installed within each HP ProLiant serverblade, in one of several slots designed for HP’s c-Class External SAS Shared Solution.

Key features of the P700m offerings include:

• Low cost• Full feature options• 3Gb SAS connections through the c-Class enclosure high speed mid-plane to the switch• High availability, with two ports configured as two SAS links per port, for a total of four SAS links.• High performance, with data bandwidth up to 600MB\s per port (300 MB\s per SAS link)• HP Smart Array Server Software, including SmartStart and HP Systems Insight Manager (SIM).

Two models of the P700m mezzanine card are available: the 256 MB cache model is a low-costmezzanine card that satisfies the basic requirements for an HP c-Class external shared SAS solution,and the 512 MB cache model has enhanced features, including battery backed cache options thatgives customers additional flexibility.

Important tips• The same model P700m (256 MB cache or 512 cache) must be installed on all servers housed

in the same c-Class enclosure.• When installing on a half-height server blade, the P700m can be installed in mezzanine slot 1 or

2, with 2 being the preferred location.• When installing on a full-height server blade, the P700m can be installed in mezzanine slot 1, 2,

or 3, with 3 being the preferred location.• When installing on a high-density server blade, the P700m must be installed in mezzanine slot 2

of each server in the server blade.• The mezzanine slot in which you install the P700m determines the bays you must install the SAS

switches, because each mezzanine card slot maps to a specific interconnect device bay of the c-Class enclosure. For more information, see HP StorageWorks 3Gb SAS BL Switch and the c-Classenclosure user documents.

• Be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware version before use.• HP Smart Array Server Software is supported for use with the P700m and its servers, but it is im-

portant to note that the MSA2000 family does not use the Smart Array storage device managementsoftware tools – ACU, ADU, and Storage Event Notification Service. The MSA2000-family of arrayenclosures use MSA2000-specific storage management software. For more information about theMSA, see HP external SAS shared storage enclosures.

HP StorageWorks 3Gb SAS BL SwitchThe HP StorageWorks 3Gb SAS BL Switch (SAS BL switch) is HP's first c-Class embedded SAS switchdesigned to provide external storage for HP’s c-Class server blades. The switch module provides upto 16 internal (2X) SAS connections: one to each server blade bay as well as 8 external (4X) SASports for external storage connections.

The 3Gb SAS switch is a single-wide form factor and consumes one c-Class enclosure interconnectbay. High-availability configurations such as this solution use two 3Gb SAS switches installed on thesame interconnect bay row of the c-Class enclosure.

To achieve proper connections, the interconnect bay in which you install your switch module mustmatch up to the mezzanine slot in which the P700m card is installed. Connections between the P700mmezzanine cards on the server blades and the SAS switches in the enclosure interconnect bays arethrough independent traces (mappings) on the c-Class enclosure midplane.

For BladeSystem c3000 and c7000 enclosures, the SAS BL switch can be installed in the followinginterconnect bays:

As with other BladeSystem devices, the 3Gb SAS Switch is managed though the Onboard Administratorweb interface. In addition, the Virtual SAS Manager application provides switch-specific tasks, suchas updating switch firmware. To access Virtual SAS Manager, click Management Console in the OAnavigation tree. HP external SAS shared storage enclosuresThe HP StorageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Array (MSA2012sa) is modular, reliable, affordable,and easy-to-manage SAS External Shared Storage enclosure. The MSA enclosures provide twelvedrive bays able to accommodate 3.5-inch enterprise-class SAS hard drives or archival-class SATAhard drives.

There are two types of MSA enclosures: array enclosures and drive enclosures.

The MSA2012sa array enclosure includes array controllers, for connecting to the SAS switch.

The MSA2000 drive enclosure includes I/O modules, for connecting to the MSA2012sa arrayenclosure, providing additional storage capacity. Up to three drive enclosures can cascade behindan MSA2012sa array enclosure.

NOTE:MSA2000 is a family name for a collection of MSA models. MSA2012sa is the model number specificto the enclosure with SAS controllers. The MSA2012sa is also referred to as the MSA2000sa.

Key features of the MSA2000 family include:

• Space-efficient 2U design, with 12 hard drive bays.• Easy to manage and service, with integrated software tools and hot-plug, redundant hardware

components.• Dual controllers in the MSA2012sa array enclosure and dual I/O modules in cascaded MSA2000

drive enclosures provide multiple paths for high availability connectivity. (Single controller andsingle I/O module enclosures are available, but do not provide the multiple paths or allow forpath failover.)

• Ability to grow as storage demands increase; increase up to 21.6 TB SAS or 48 TB SATA. TheMSA2012sa array can support up to 3 cascaded drive enclosures.

• Support for up to 255 volumes with sizes up to 16 TB.• Choice of high performance enterprise class SAS drives or low cost, high capacity archival class

SATA drives.

Configuration, management, and monitoring tasks are performed using the Storage ManagementUtility (SMU) or Command Line Interface (CLI), both of which are integrated in MSA2000–familyarray controller firmware. The HP StorageWorks MSL2024, MSL4048, and MSL8096 Tape Libraries and 1/8 G2 TapeAutoloader provide compact, high-capacity, low-cost solutions for simple, unattended data backup.The Libraries house 12 tape cartridges for each 1U of height, with easy access to tape cartridges viaremovable magazines and one or more mailslots. The Autoloader houses up to eight tape cartridgesin a compact 1U form factor with easy access to tape cartridges via two removable magazines anda configurable mailslot. The MSL2024, MSL4048, and MSL8096 Libraries can be partitioned intomultiple logical libraries for optimal configuration flexibility in a shared storage environment.

• SAS tape libraries must be connected to a port on a SAS BL switch (they cannot be connected toa SAS port on an MSA).

• Each SAS tape drive has a single SAS port. Redundancy is not supported, so the host end of thefanout cable will only be connected to one port on one SAS BL switch. Either SAS BL switch in thec-Class enclosure may be used. The corresponding switch port on the other SAS BL switch maybe left open or connected to other devices.

3 High availability information

The HP External SAS Shared Solution provides high availability, offering c-Class BladeSystem customersfull connectivity to External SAS storage by using the following redundant hardware components:• Two controllers in each MSA2012sa array enclosure• Two 3Gb SAS BL Switches in each c-Class enclosure ( four when using high-density server blades)• One dual-ported P700m mezzanine card (four links configured as two (2X) SAS ports) in each

server• Dual-ported SAS hard drives in the MSA2012sa array enclosures and MSA2000 drive enclosures• Redundant power supplies and fans in the c-Class enclosures and MSA enclosures.

By using dual-ported P700m mezzanine cards in each server blade, dual SAS switches, dual-controllerMSA2012sa array enclosure, and dual-ported SAS hard drives, high availability is ensured. If anycomponent in the path between the server and the storage fails, system software will automaticallyfail over all I/O to the alternate path.

Although a single controller MSA2012sa array enclosure is available, the dual-controller model isrequired in high availability environments. With two controllers in the array enclosure, high availabilityis ensured if one of the controllers fails. During a failover event, all processing is performed by theremaining controller, with no interruption to the flow of data.

When configuring the storage, the MSA2000 family offers a variety of RAID levels, allowing auser-selected level of performance and fault tolerance. Installation steps1. Set up the rack and its PDUs.

2. If applicable, install the Tape Library or Autoloader.

3. Install a mezzanine card on each server blade. Make sure to install the mezzanine card in a slotthat will correspond to planned interconnect bays of the switches. (HP P700m InstallationInstructions and HP P700m User Guide)

Record the slot number in which you installed the mezzanine card on the provided spaces inServer (and mezzanine) worksheet.

4. Install the c-Class enclosure.

a. Rack the enclosure. (HP BladeSystem c-Class Solution Overview Setup Poster)

b. Install the following devices in enclosure bays.

• Power supplies• Fans• Onboard Administrator modules• 3Gb SAS BL Switches

Make sure to install the switches in interconnect bays that correspond with the slots inwhich the mezzanine cards were installed in the servers.

• Server blades with mezzanine cards attachedc. Connect the Onboard Administrator cables and power cords.

If the MSA is already racked, do not connect SAS cables between the switches and theMSA2012sa array enclosure at this time. Connect them only after ensuring that the latestavailable firmware is installed on the MSA2012sa controllers.

d. Apply power to the rack and turn on the AC circuit breakers for the enclosure.

Power is automatically applied to or removed from the devices as power is applied orremoved from the enclosure. As the devices power on, they automatically perform a seriesof Power-On Self-Tests. (POST)

Confirm successful startup of the enclosure and its components. View the OA module display,the Insight Display, and device LEDs to monitor the progress of the Power-On Self-Tests. Fordetails, see the Onboard Administrator user guide and user documents for the devices.

e. Complete the HP BladeSystem Insight Display installation wizard. (HP BladeSystemc3000/c7000 Enclosure Quick Setup Instructions)

When the enclosure is powered up for the first time, the Insight Display launches an installationwizard to guide you through the configuration process. After configuring the enclosure, theInsight Display verifies that there are no installation or configuration errors.

f. Complete the Onboard Administrator First Time Setup Wizard. (HP BladeSystem OnboardAdministrator user guide)

g. Record important system information about each device in the c-Class enclosure in the spacesprovided in Solution summary worksheetServer (and mezzanine) worksheet , and Interconnectworksheet. To obtain this information, open Onboard Administrator and view informationfor each device in the enclosure.

5. Upgrade firmware on the enclosure, mezzanine cards, and switches to the latest versions. Stepsinclude:

a. For each device, determine the currently-installed firmware version, and record in the providedspaces in Appendix B. This information is displayed in Onboard Administrator in the RackFirmware page.

b. For each device, determine if there is a more recent version of firmware available. The latestavailable firmware version is listed and available for download on the HP website for eachdevice. Alternatively, firmware can also be downloaded from the Business Support Centerat http://www.hp.com/support.

c. As needed, upgrade the firmware on the devices.• c-Class enclosures: Updated via Onboard Administrator• P700m mezzanine cards: Updated via a SmartComponent• 3Gb SAS BL switches: Updated via Virtual SAS Manager

6. For each server that will boot locally (not use the MSA as a boot device), install the operatingsystem. (HP ProLiant Server Blade User Guide)

a. Prepare for a firmware update. Obtain the latest controller firmware and upgrade instructionsfrom the MSA2000sa website: http://www.hp.com/go/msa2000sa.

• Firmware: On the MSA2000sa product page, click Support for your product to accessthe Business Support Center page. Then, click Download drivers and software.

• Instructions: On the MSA2000sa product page, click Support for your product to accessthe Business Support Center page. Then, click Manuals.

b. Rack the MSA2012sa array enclosure and any MSA2000 drive enclosures.

c. Insert hard drives in the MSA enclosures.

d. Connect MSA2000 drive enclosures to the MSA2012sa array enclosure. Be sure to followprovided guidelines of a fault-tolerant cabling configuration to provide a highly availablesolution. For more information about cabling cascaded MSA drive enclosures, see Chapter5.

Do not connect SAS cables between the MSA array enclosure and the switch at this time.Connect them only after ensuring that the latest available firmware is installed on theMSA2012sa.

e. Connect the Ethernet cables and power cords.

f. Apply power to the MSA enclosures.

• Power on any cascaded drive enclosures and allow them to complete its POST.Make sure that the drive enclosures complete their startup routines before powering onthe array enclosure. If the array enclosure is powered on prematurely, it may not properlydiscover the attached storage.

• Power on the array enclosure and allow it to complete POST.• Confirm successful startup of the MSA enclosures and their hard drives. View the LEDs

on the front and rear of each MSA to monitor the progress of the POST. For more inform-ation about MSA LED patterns, see “Hardware Components and LEDs” in the HP Stor-ageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Array user guide.

g. If needed, upgrade the firmware on the MSA2012sa controllers, using the firmware andinstructions obtained in Step a.

h. Install required MSA-specific drivers and software and , such as the multipathing DeviceSpecific Module, on each server that will access the MSA2012sa. (“Host SystemRequirements” in theHP StorageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Array user guide andMSA2000sa QuickSpecs)

8. Connect SAS cables from MSA2000 drive enclosures to the MSA2012sa array controllers andconnect SAS cables from the MSA2012sa array enclosure to the switch. Be sure to follow providedguidelines of a fault-tolerant cabling configuration to provide a highly available solution. Formore information about cabling MSA2012sa array enclosures to the switch, see Chapter 5.

Connect the MSA2012sa array enclosure to the switch only after upgrading the controller firmwareto the latest version.

Be sure to connect both controllers in the MSA2012sa array enclosure to both switches.

9. Force the servers to discover the MSA by restarting all servers that need to access the storage.If supported by your operating system, use a management utility to scan for new hardware. Besure to view device and status information to confirm that they were properly discovered.

10. Configure the MSA. (“Configuring a System for the First Time” in the HP StorageWorks 2012saModular Smart Array user guide)

a. Obtain and record the IP address of each MSA2012sa controller in the provided spaces inArray enclosure worksheet. This IP address is used when accessing the MSA2000 StorageManagement Utility (SMU) or Command Line Interface (CLI) to configure the MSA. (“ObtainingIP Values for Your Storage System” in the HP StorageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Arrayuser guide)

b. Obtain and record the SAS WWN of all P700m ports on all server blades that will accessthe MSA2012sa storage in the provided spaces in Server (and mezzanine) worksheet. TheseWWN are used in the SMU or CLI when granting hosts access to the storage.

The WWNs of all P700m ports connected to each 3Gb SAS BL switch are displayed as“Device ID” on the Switch Port Mapping page in Onboard Administrator. (HP OnboardAdministrator user guide)

c. Create Vdisks and volumes using the SMU or CLI. (“Creating Virtual Disks” in the HPStorageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Array user guide)

If the MSA is being used as the boot device for server blades, create the required volumeson the MSA. (Booting from shared storage with direct connect SAS storage for HPBladeSystem and HP StorageWorks MSA2012sa on the MSA2000sa website)

d. (Recommended) Map each MSA volume to the servers that need access. (“Mapping a Volumeto a Host” in the HP StorageWorks 2012sa Modular Smart Array user guide)

For each MSA volume:

• Create a mapping to all WWNs of the server that needs access.• Open access to the volume through all four MSA controller SAS ports (A0, A1, B0, and

B1) on the MSA2012sa.

High availability configurations require at least two mappings per volume to each server.

11. The basic steps of installing this HP External SAS Shared Solution are complete. Additionalconfiguration steps may include:

• If the MSA is used as a boot device for server blades, configure the server blades properlyand then install the operating system. (Booting from shared storage with direct connect SASstorage for HP BladeSystem and HP StorageWorks MSA2012sa on the MSA2000sa website)

P700m mezzanine card installation notes and best practices• When installing on a half-height server blade, the P700m can be installed in mezzanine slot 1 or

2, with 2 being the preferred location.• When installing on a full-height server blade, the P700m can be installed in mezzanine slot 1, 2,

or 3, with 3 being the preferred location.• When installing on a high-density server blade, the P700m must be installed in mezzanine slot 2

of each server.• The choice of mezzanine slot in which the P700m is installed determines the bays in which you

must install the SAS switches, because each mezzanine card slot maps to a specific interconnectdevice bay of the c-Class enclosure.

5 Configuration examples

Examples in this section illustrate a few of the possible configurations of an HP External SAS SharedSolution for c-Class Blades, centered around a c7000 enclosure connecting to external MSA2000array enclosures. The focus of these examples is on hardware options, requirements, and cabling.All examples are of multipath, high-availability configurations. If any component along a path fails,traffic will fail over to the other path.

The following standards are maintained in the sample configurations:

Depending on the type of server blade used, two or four switches are installed in the c-Classenclosure, providing multiple paths between the server blades and the switches. When usingfull-height or half-height server blades, two switches are required. When using high-densityserver blades, four switches are required. Switches must be installed on the same row ofthe enclosure, for example, in interconnect bays 5 and 6.

Switches:

Two controllers are installed in MSA2012sa array enclosures, providing multiple pathsbetween the switches and the MSA2012sa array.

MSA array controllers:

Two I/O modules are installed in all cascaded MSA2000 drive enclosures, providingmultiple paths between the MSA2012sa array and the cascaded storage.

MSA I/O modules:

When possible, both ports on the MSA2012sa controllers are connected to both switches,creating four paths instead of two. (Recommended for optimal availability and performance.)Two paths provide standard high availability and performance, while four paths provideoptimal high availability and performance.

HP Onboard AdministratorHP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator (OA) is the enclosure management processor, subsystem,and firmware base used to support the HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures and the managed devicescontained within the enclosure.

OA provides a single point from which to perform basic management tasks on server blades orswitches within the c-Class enclosure. Using hardwired knowledge, OA performs initial configurationsteps for the enclosure, allows for run-time management and configuration of the enclosure components,and informs you of problems within the enclosure through e-mail, SNMP, or the Insight Display Formore Information about using OA, see the HP BladeSystem Onboard Administrator User Guide.

The following image shows the Rack Topology view of the front and rear of a c7000 enclosure, withthe primary navigation tree on the left-side of the display. Half-height server blades are installed indevice bays 1–16, and the two SAS BL switches are installed in interconnect bays 5 and 6.

As shown in the following image, after selecting an item in the navigation tree, management andmonitoring tasks for the selected device are displayed. For example, when a 3Gb SAS BL switchinstalled in interconnect bay 6 is selected in the navigation tree, additional information about thedevice is displayed, with tabs at the top of the display providing additional functions.

As shown in the following image, when determining the WWN of the P700m mezzanine ports,expand the navigation tree for a 3Gb SAS BL switch and then click Port Mapping. For the selectedswitch, the display shows each port of the switch, the server blade it is mapped to, and the WWNof the P700m mezzanine port.

HP Virtual SAS ManagerThe switch management console, HP Virtual SAS Manager (VSM), includes options for managing andmonitoring the 3Gb SAS BL Switch.

Key VSM tasks include:

• Restarting the blade switch (power cycle)• Updating switch firmware (obtained from the HP website)

VSM is accessed through Onboard Administrator. After opening OA, select the switch in the OAnavigation pane, and then click Management Console. For more information about using the VSM,see its online help.

MSA2000 Family Storage Management UtilityThe Storage Management Utility (SMU) offers a graphical user interface (GUI) for configuring,managing, and monitoring the MSA2000 family storage systems. The SMU is accessed through abrowser by entering the IP address of the MSA management port.

Through the SMU, you can manage the following physical and logical storage components: arrayenclosures, drive enclosures, MSA controllers, power-and-cooling modules, hard drives, virtual disks(Vdisks), volumes, volume-to-host mappings, master volumes, snap pools, and snapshots.

The SMU includes monitoring and diagnostic features that enhance the reliability, availability, andserviceability of the storage system. You can configure the transmission of event notifications (alerts),which can be sent to the screen or to e-mail addresses, and Simple Network Management Protocol(SNMP) traps, which can be sent to an SNMP application. Events are also recorded in an event logon the storage system from which they can be viewed.

In dual-controller systems, you can access all SMU functions from either controller. If one controllerbecomes unavailable, you can continue to monitor and manage the storage system from the partnercontroller.

MSA2000 Family Command Line InterfaceThe embedded CLI offers a command level method of configuring, managing, and monitoring theMSA2000 family array and its storage. You can enter individual commands or command scripts. TheCLI is accessed locally through a terminal emulator running on a management host connected to theserial port on the MSA controller or remotely through a Secure Shell application (SSH), Telnet, orterminal emulator running on a management host connected through a LAN to the Ethernet port onthe MSA controller. For more information about using the CLI, see the HP StorageWorks 2000 FamilyModular Smart Array CLI reference guide.

MSL Tape Libraries and 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader remotemanagement interface

With the remote management interface (RMI), you can monitor, configure, and operate most Libraryor Autoloader functions from a web browser. The RMI is accessed through a browser by entering theIP address of the Library or Autoloader.

When possible, use the RMI as the primary Library or Autoloader interface because the web interfaceprovides access to additional features, includes online help, and is easier to use than the front panel.However, the RMI is not required to use the product, except to configure SNMP, IPv6, and logicallibraries. The only tasks that cannot be performed from the RMI are: opening the mailslot, initiatingthe wellness test, saving and restoring files, and downloading firmware via a USB flash drive.

Before using the RMI, you must configure the device’s network and set the administrator passwordwith the operator control panel (OCP).
