IndicationKERYDIN® is a topical prescription medicine used to treat fungal infections of the toenails.

Important Safety InformationKERYDIN® is for use on toenails only. Do not use KERYDIN® in your mouth, eyes, or vagina.

Use KERYDIN® exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to use it. Avoid getting KERYDIN® on skin that is not surrounding the treated toenail. KERYDIN® is flammable. Avoid heat and flame while applying KERYDIN® to your toenail.

* Use a tissue to wipe any excess solution from the surrounding skin. Do not wipe KERYDIN® off of your toenails.

Are you a toe tucker because of toenail fungus?

Your doctor has prescribed KERYDIN® to treat your toenail fungus. As you may have noticed, toenail fungus usually won’t go away by itself. It is important to treat the infection and kill the fungus.

To accomplish that, you need to apply KERYDIN® once a day for 48 weeks. That may sound like a long time, but no treatment can cure toenail fungus overnight. It takes about a year to grow a healthy toenail while treating the infection. It is important to follow your healthcare provider’s directions and use KERYDIN® exactly as it was prescribed.

KERYDIN® is available in 2 bottle sizes—4 mL and 10 mL— based on your needs

Below are some suggestions you can follow to help prevent toenail fungus or keep it from spreading:

• Wash your feet every day (even between toes) and dry them completely; when finished, wash your hands. Dry skin and nails are less likely to become infected

• Always wear socks (wool, nylon, and polypropylene are best); change them immediately if your feet get damp or sweaty

• Wear sandals occasionally or open-toed shoes to minimize perspiration

• Consider throwing out old shoes. They may contain fungus that can re-infect your feet

• When using a public shower or pool, wear shower sandals or shoes

• Do not share shoes, socks, nail clippers, or nail files

• Try to cut your nails as straight across as possible and file down areas that are thick

The space between the lines shows what 1 mm of growth looks like (according to scale).

A toenail only grows about 1 mm a month—so it can take 12 to 18 months to grow out completely.

Turn over this sheet for instructions on how to use KERYDIN®. It may be helpful to keep these instructions in the same place that you keep KERYDIN® so you can use them as a guide.
