After a very gruesome and a very traumatizing divorce, once needs to try everything he or she
can to move on and put the divorce behind him or her. Today, divorce is very common as about
one out of every two marriages fail which means that there is a fifty percent chance that one's

Some tips to help relieve or reduce the pain that one feels post-divorce, and to help him or her
move on are: try to stay surrounded by family and friends as much as one can, keep one's
weekend occupied, go on a vacation once the divorce is finalized, make sure one is healthy by
going to the doctor, start writing in a diary, write a letter/email to your ex-spouse, one should get
a new look/pamper one's self, go back to school, find a new hobby, and meditation.
Friends and family are one's support group and they will try their best to ensure that one is okay
and to try their best to help one move on. Then there is stress which causes one to eat and drink
too much so one needs to make sure that his or her health is okay. Writing in diary helps one to
relive one's thoughts and baggage. One should write a letter or email his or her ex-spouse as this
will relieve one's stress and tension and this will give one closure. However do not send this
letter or email. Mediation helps because the quiet time allows one to get in touch with his or her
inner self and it allows one to relieve stress.
