  • How to Save Your iMovie Project

    1.Click on Macintosh HD on your desktop

    2. Click on the folder titled Users

    3. Then open up the file with your name next to the home symbol

    4. Open up the Movies folder

  • 5. Command Click to select both iMovie Events and iMovie Projects

    7. Drag and drop iMovie Events and iMovie Projects into an empty file on your flash drive or external hard drive (space permitting).

    8. Be sure to store locally to your specific workstation: open up Storage on your desktop and make a folder under your name. 9. Repeat step 7, but this time, drag and drop iMovie Events and iMovie Projects from the movies folder into the newly created folder in Storage. 10. You have now saved all of your files and are free to log out.

  • Accessing your iMovie Files After Logging Out 1. Open up Macintosh HD and then as before, go to: Users> file with your name next to the home symbol>Movies

    2. Select and move iMovie Events and iMovie Projects into the trash

    3. Go back into the file you saved on your flash drive or under Storage

    4. Drag and drop the version of iMovie Events and iMovie Projects that you saved on your flash drive or the storage folder into the movies folder.

    5. You should now be able to launch the iMovie program and access your project as you last left it.
