“Believe in yourself even when nobody else does.

I’ve never met a single person in my life, who’s been successful without facing a lot of adversity!”

Harvey Mackay

Page 3: How to Radically Recover your Life

What’s the toughest thing about facing a disease

like cancer?

Page 4: How to Radically Recover your Life

Fear. There’s so much fear attached to the word, the

world and the disease that is cancer. It’s hard to separate your own experience from that and heal on your own terms. But it’s do-able for sure! That’s why I am here

teaching tools and techniques for Radical Recovery!

Page 5: How to Radically Recover your Life

What did you focus on in your darkest

moments?

Page 6: How to Radically Recover your Life

Thanks to a call with Cindy-the-Psychic, I knew my

cancer wasn’t about me dying; it was about choosing to live. From there, I focused – with full faith - that I was 100 %

healed, whole and healthy. I just had to walk the hard highway of healing to get

there!

Page 7: How to Radically Recover your Life

What was the key for your recovery?

Page 8: How to Radically Recover your Life

The keys for my recovery were full faith and harnessing

the power of positivity. I blocked all information that I found fearful, kept my eye on the prize of being healed and

whole and marched on!

Page 9: How to Radically Recover your Life

How much of your radical recovery was

about

The body?The mind?The heart?

Page 10: How to Radically Recover your Life

The body is huge because it’s going though an

enormous amount of stress. Chemo, surgery and

radiation wear you down and knock you out. Like a

phoenix rising from the ashes, the body endures the ultimate breakdown before

its breakthrough!

Page 11: How to Radically Recover your Life

The mind, because it drives the whole experience, is

huge. By reading, studying, meditating and again, blocking off all fearful

information, I kept my mind focused like a laser on full

faith. My recovery was 100% guaranteed to me and I

never waivered from that!

Page 12: How to Radically Recover your Life

The heart and its opening were huge in my recovery process. Because of who I

had been, learning to let love in and receive were my

lessons during this healing opportunity. Sometimes it

takes a crisis to get us where we need to go!

Page 13: How to Radically Recover your Life

“Death is the destination we all

share. Death is the single

best invention of Life.

It's Life's change agent.”

Steve Jobs

Page 14: How to Radically Recover your Life

Is it easy to scream “WHY ME?”

What should we ask instead to recover our lives?

Page 15: How to Radically Recover your Life

Rather than asking “why me?” it’s important to ask,

“what is this disease here to teach me, show me and open

my eyes to seeing? Life is happening FOR us and by

taking that perspective, we can open to its gifts! There is

always something to be healed when crisis comes

calling!

Page 16: How to Radically Recover your Life

“a) There’s two very important things we easily forget:you’re alive now!b) you’re going

to die.”

Steve Gutzler

Page 17: How to Radically Recover your Life

That’s why I don’t want YOU to believe this is only about

recovering from cancer!

It’s about using any adversity to become ALL that you can

be!

Page 18: How to Radically Recover your Life

“The great use of life is to spend it for something that

will outlast it.”

William James

Page 19: How to Radically Recover your Life

How did you find your purpose?

Can anybody do it?How?

Page 20: How to Radically Recover your Life

I found my purpose during an episode of my radio show, Get

GLOWING. Angela Strank, a Life Coach, asked, “What have you been through in your life that you are uniquely positioned to

help others with?” I heard, “Cancer” followed immediately by “I’m Jennifer Alhasa, Cancer Coach” clear as day. So here I

am.

Page 21: How to Radically Recover your Life

I think that anyone can find Purpose. I think it’s an

imperative question to ask of ourselves. Also, looking around

the world and seeing what breaks your heart is a great

guide too. If it hurts you to see it happening, do something about it. Like Gandhi said it best, “Be the change that you wish to see

in the world.”

Page 22: How to Radically Recover your Life

Could you do it without facing that adversity?

Page 23: How to Radically Recover your Life

For me, cancer and its adversity were my path so I needed it to

transform. I have no regrets about that. That said, as our

world awakens and more people become conscious, I think we’re

moving away from the “Wounded Healer” model. If you can open your soul and follow

your heart without adversity, go for it!

Page 24: How to Radically Recover your Life

What’s your definition of Success?

Page 25: How to Radically Recover your Life

Success for me is living on purpose with passion

surrounded by people you love. It’s having the time, energy and enthusiasm to follow joy, awe and wonder. It’s living like a

child, moment to moment and seeing what shows up!

Page 26: How to Radically Recover your Life

“At the end of the gameit all comes back to the box.”

John Ortberg

Page 27: How to Radically Recover your Life

My grandmother taught me how to play the game monopoly. Now, my grandmother was a

wonderful person, but she was the most ruthless Monopoly

player I have ever known in my life.

From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the box”

Page 28: How to Radically Recover your Life

She would accumulate everything she could. And

eventually, she became the master of the board.

And then she would always say the same thing to me. She’d

look at me and she’d say, “One day, you’ll learn to play the

game.” From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the

box”

Page 29: How to Radically Recover your Life

But one summer, I played Monopoly with a neighbor kid–a

friend of mine–almost every day, all day long.

We’d play Monopoly for hours. And by the end of that summer,

I was more ruthless than my grandmother.

From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the box”

Page 30: How to Radically Recover your Life

And I sat down with her to play that fall. Relentlessly,

inexorably, I drove her off the board.

I took everything she had. I destroyed her financially and

psychologically. It was the greatest moment of

my life.

From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the box”

Page 31: How to Radically Recover your Life

Then she said, “Now that you know how to play the game, let

me teach you a lesson about Life - it all goes back in the box”

From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the box”

Page 32: How to Radically Recover your Life

“None of it was really yours. You got all heated up about it for a while, but it was around a long

time before you sat down at the board, and it will be here after you’re gone. Players come and

players go. But it all goes back in the box.”

From John Ortberg’s “At the end of the game it all comes back in the box”

Page 33: How to Radically Recover your Life

How do you play the game while living for the purpose

of your life?

Page 34: How to Radically Recover your Life

You play the game of life by following joy, by being love in

action and being as impeccable as possible. Remember to do

unto others, cultivate compassion and be the best

YOU that you know how. Also, remember that we’re all

evolving perfectly according to our own life plan. It’s not one

size fits all for sure!

Page 35: How to Radically Recover your Life

Does helping others contribute to your own

healing?

Page 36: How to Radically Recover your Life

Oh yes! As the song goes, “I’m starting with the man in the mirror…” I know that when

things are up for a client, they are a reflection of what needs time and attention in my own life! It’s all an invitation to feel

the healing!

Page 37: How to Radically Recover your Life
