1. Develop a strategy/plan around your products or service
A successful marketing strategy depends on understanding your customers, what they need and how you can persuade them to buy from you.
A marketing plan explains how to put your strategy into action. It will set marketing budgets and deadlines, but it will also tell you how you're going to talk to your target customers - whether that's through advertising, networking, going to trade shows, direct marketing, and so on.
But you'll also need to understand how your market works - where do your customers find out about your offer, for example?

3. Set up some landing pages
What is a landing page?
In it’s simplest terms, a landing page is any web page that a visitor can arrive at or “land” on.
However within the marketing and advertising, it’s more common to refer to a landing page as being a standalone web page separated from your main website that has been designed for a single focused objective

5. Create a blogging strategy
Blogging is another way to drive traffic to your website and boost your site’s ranking in the search engines. Blogs can be used to add more keyword phrase pages to your website.
Many business owners hesitate to blog because they don’t know what to write about, but don’t let this stop you. You’re obviously an expert in what you do or you wouldn’t be running a business. Spend some time thinking about trends in your industry that you can blog about and keep customers and prospects informed.
