HOW TO JOIN OR TRANSFER TO CITY OF CARDIFF SWIMMING CLUB An Invitation to Trial with us at the Cardiff International Pool - Monday nights at 6:00 pm City of Cardiff is one of the leading competitive swimming clubs in Wales. The Club provides its Members with the opportunity to swim at all levels priding itself on developing young swimmers’ aquatic skills through to developing International athletes. The Club was accredited with “Swim Wales Performance Centre” in 2012. For NEW SWIMMERS, please only book if you are advised to do so by your Learn to Swim teacher/coach or externally by a member of the CCSC coaching staff. Our minimum entry level is either: Aqua Passport Wave 7 or NPTS Stage 7. Please ensure you include the following information: Child’s full name and DOB Contact details - e-mail and phone number Present swimming ability (Wave/Stage) Learn to Swim provider or teacher A member of the coaching team will be on poolside. The coach will communicate necessary information with parents before the start of the trial, which will take approximately 20 minutes. In the first instance please contact our Head Coach (in privacy and confidence) to discuss your needs and evaluate your goals. We can help you determine if a move to our Club is appropriate for you. Next we arrange a free trial to enable us to assess your swimming ability and as important for you, to sample a typical City of Cardiff training session. Following on from the trial session you will be offered a further week of training sessions completely free of charge and without obligation so you have time to carefully consider our offer and whether you want to join us.
