Diet

Eating properly is the most important step to getting a six pack of abs. Now what I mean when I say eat properly is that you need to eat less. Simple. How often do you eat when you’re not really hungry? How often do you eat when you’re obviously full? How often do you eat when you’re bored?

These are the things that need to stop if you want to get defined six pack abs. And then of course try to make healthier food choices.

Increase HGH and Metabolism

Now I know you may be wondering what HGH is. It is the human growth hormone and it is your body’s most potent fat burning hormone. So how do we increase HGH and the metabolism? Do some cardio and interval training. Now I’m not talking about running on a treadmill for an hour or so. Try doing some HIIT training (high intensity interval training) or circuit training.

Ab Exercises

Now ab exercises is a distant third in importance for getting six pack abs. Why is that? The reason is that you already have six pack abs. They are just covered up by fat. Ab exercises are not going to help you get rid of that layer of fat. Diet and high intensity cardio will. Now of course ab exercises will help to sharpen and define your abs a bit, but you should not be working them more than 10 minutes three times a week.
