Select the project area.
Gather information about the existing conditions. Collect and share photos of garden ideas that you are drawn to.
Incorporate prioritized goals for school garden as design ideas are discussed. Develop 3-4 design ideas that can be built with volunteers.
Form a committee of individuals that support your idea to develop a school garden including but not limited to teachers, administrators, students, private companies, non-profi ts, local agencies and local community members.
Designate one committee leader that will coordinate meetings, agendas, and facilitate meetings. Identify and prioritize goals for school garden by engaging in dis-cussions that consider the variety of committee perspectives.
