Claiming Your Public Profile
FOLLOW THESE 4 SIMPLE STEPS TO SET UP YOUR PROFILE.
Create your organization’s profile with the
username of your choice. You can us your full
name (our recommendation) or an abbreviation.
To make your votes public, you must explain why
people should vote yea or nay on a bill by writing a
pro or con opinion.

and in the upper
right corner select
“LOG IN”
•At the bottom of the
new popup window,
select “New user?

your advocacy,
legislation, or
communications contact
person.
•We will send all
communications to this
email.
•Choose a password.

•Enter your organization’s zip code
to choose who your votes are sent
to. We’re thinking about changing this.
What do you want: no messages sent? All
of congress? You can pick which reps?
Give us feedback!
•For now, your org’s votes go to
these reps. People who vote on
your bills send messages to their

•Profile picture: your logo
works well.
•Username: your full org
name or abbreviate.
This determines your
Public URL, too!
•Bio: share your mission
or advocacy priorities.

to share with the
Countable

•Review your profile to
make sure it is the way
you want it.
•Click thru to begin
voting on bills.

•Vote Yea or Nay on bills.
•Add your opinion to explain
your vote and make it public.
Votes are private until you add an
opinion. Once you save an opinion, it
will be added to your public profile.
Votes with an opinion are public!
To make your vote private again,
just delete the text of your opinion.
