How to Create an Account in Fastlane June 20, 2014

1) Log in and from the Research Administration home page, select Accounts Management.

  

2) Next, search to verify your faculty member does not already have an account. If the individual already has an account, you can edit their information so that it will match the information in the ASU system.

 

3) If the individual does not have an account, select Add New User.

4) Begin inputting the required fields (those with a black asterik). It is important that the investigators name matches how it is displayed in the ASU system. Lastly, remember to mark the box for Add User as PI. Click Add User.

 

5) Once a Fastlane account has been created, it is important to update (or create) that individual’s Researcher Profile in the ASU-ERA Grants system (see FAQ about Editing Information about a PI). Doing so allows the correct information to auto-populate on all future Funding Proposals in which they participate.
