Choose - File, New Blank Presentation

Click the design tab and choose an option from the Themes section.

Click the down arrow for a drop down box with more theme options.

Click in the box labeled “click to add title” and type text.

If you want, another option to alter the appearance of your presentation is to change the layout based on what you would like to present. Choose “layout” found on the Home tab.

Click on the “insert picture from a file” icon

Or choose picture from Insert tab

Locate the picture file that you would like to add and click insert.

You can click on the picture to move it, resize it, etc. Use the options under the format tab to add borders, crop, etc.

Home tab, New Slide drop down and choose theme

Or right click in left pane and choose New Slide from pop up menu

Choose a transition type under the transition tab.

More transitions options are found by clicking the drop down arrow

File, Save As

Save to desired location. Choose drop down arrow for “Save as type”

Choose the .pps file type and save
