Right there in that chair where you're now sitting, I used to be. Then I learned how to make money from blogging, and NOW that I've learned that secret, I'm willing to share it with you. There are many options, but the ones I'm going to include are the ones that work well for me. I know they'll be easy to copy and do, for you, because I do them on a regular basis and I know they work. So, listen up and let me show you what you can do to make money blogging.

Do you have a blog?

That's probably not the first step. You'll need a plan to decide what to name your blog and what to write on your blog that will make you profitable. So, let's start with the plan...

MakeA

ListMake a list of your interests and skills, things you love to do, and want to write about doing. Start there and get that list out of the way - a spiral notebook is a good option for that, because you'll be using it often.

Select one item out of your list and let's focus on what could be profitable from that list. What could you sell using that topic. I'm going to suggest peripheral items, such as tools used, supplies and anything that might be required.

(Hint: Does your topic require travel?)

Do some research. Do people buy these items online? Are there places online to purchase them? Can you be an affiliate for these products?

How would you find your market? Are you attracted to that market? Would that market be attracted to you? How would you attract that market if not through your own interests and ideas?

Do you have enough of a market to make a business?

That's the important question...

Is there enough market for this topic to make a business and how will they find you?

If you're working online, there's always the search engines and other various methods of marketing online, but what about the soft local market? Would you have any market there? Could THEY find you online, or offline?

One of the most remarkable benefits of

creating content is the ability you have to

promote other businesses, products, and

merchants through your own content.

Whether your articles promote a book you

just finished reading or a book you'd like to

read, you have the option of drumming up

business and marketing a book. You can

use that option to spread the good word

about the availability of a book through

Amazon, and promote your link to "Affiliate

Market" the eBook so you make a few cents

profit from each book you sell over

Amazon's joint marketing venture.

The content you create on your blog, within your website, and on your marketing pieces will drive traffic toward your business or away from your business. Occasionally, I've written an article that might have been better left in the discard file and published it anyway, only to find that it was one of my better promoting articles. Don't dismiss something simply because it doesn't appeal to you personally. Use open marketing thought processes and encourage your readers to find value in diversity.
