STUDENT PROFILE SUMMARY:

All of the students surveyed were regular students.

The most common (80% out of a hundred) hobby where we based the information of what other activities, aside from schoolwork, does a typical IND student spend their money on were internet surfing and pc games.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:Question # 1. The aim of the first question is to

The choices range form 400 pesos to 1000 pesos and above, by showing them estimates it will be easier for them to choose and it will be easier for us to tabulate.

Question # 3-

Another point to consider is their budget for transportation.

We have taken into account some students who live in dormitories so that we can come up with a fair data.

We found and asked 5 students from each yr level who fit our categories. Students 1 and 2 both go home to their respective home after classes while students 4 and 5 live in dorms because they are from far provinces while student 3 keeps that balance by living in a dorm for the weekdays and going home on weekends.

Question # 4-

This question is there to determine how much a student uses for his daily food needs and for the case of those in the dormitory, their laundry, room and room cleaning which some dormitories provide also.

Some of the percentages are low because some students prefer to bring packed lunch from home.

Question # 5-

This question asks whether the students save the money that’s left from their weeklong budget.

The chart will become shorter because most of the students who answered the survey seem to use up all of their money and only some of them actually do save.

CONCLUSION:

From these data we can conclude that as the year level gets higher, each industrial design student’s budget must rise also simply because they have to spend more every year.

There is also the fact that as the student goes up a yr his/her chances of saving money also rises.

These money matters have also let us look at how a student’s budget may affect the quality of their work, because some majority of all the students who almost always run out of budget weekly say that they do good with their plates, this doesn’t mean that those who save aren’t the same, because all of those who said they save money actually do better because they said they manage their money better.
