Design Brief:A Chinese orphanage is in need of interactive and cost effective toysthat will help to entertain the children, give them a sense ofbelonging and help them to care for something they own. Yourschool has been asked to propose a project idea that will help to fulfill the needs of these children. With this in mind complete your own DESIGN BRIEF for this project.

User:You will need to choose the gender, age and characteristics of the children at the orphanage that you will study and provide for. They may be from broken families, may have beenabandoned early on in their lives and may have many struggles in their life. Theyare in need of love and attention and it would be great if these toys could build a sense of togetherness and interaction between children and the adults caring for them.

You may use a partner class in the CKY Primary School section in order to relate yourself to the likes and dislikes of children at a specific age or gender. Don’t forget you will need to consider that these children will have different socio-economic backgrounds than your target market.
