Kama‘aina Kids is a private, non-profit, multi-service organization dedicated to serving children and their families through quality childcare programs. As one of the largest childcare organizations in Hawai‘i, we provide childcare for children, ages 6 weeks to 17 years. Our 800 employees serve 10,000 children daily in our preschool, school age, hotel/convention/babysitting and environmental services programs on all major Hawaiian Islands.

Our Hotel & Convention Division has been in business since 1990. We provide professional childcare programs for hotels, conventions, meetings and military families, and offer babysitting to island visitors and residents.

All employees are trained in emergency procedures, certified in first aid and CPR, fingerprinted and have passed a national background check. HOTEL CHILDCARE

Our hotel and timeshare children’s programs offer Hawaiian-themed activities and adventures that allow keiki to discover and connect with the unique culture and history of Hawaii. Activities include lei making, hula dancing, nature scavenger hunts, Hawaiian arts & crafts, kite flying, Hawaiian games, petroglyphs and a lot more. Our drop in centers offer age appropriate materials in the play/interest centers including books, art, blocks, and table toys. The environment offers opportunities to explore, discover, and grow.

Kama‘aina Kids provides quality childcare for Meeting and Convention Groups. Kama‘aina Kids’ Program Managers will work directly with any meeting planner to develop a childcare program and take care of activity schedules, registration forms, site logistics and staffing.

In Hawaii, our exceptional staff serve as Ambassadors of Aloha, ensuring that participants have a memorable experience with Hawaiian games, arts and crafts, activity centers and excursions that introduce children to Hawaii.

We can also plan and conduct youth programs for convention groups across the country with the goal of providing age-appropriate educational, social and cultural experiences unique to the location of your meeting.

Kama‘aina Kids Sitters provides in-room childcare at all hotels, timeshares and vacation rentals on Oahu and Maui. When you’re off to a meeting, a round of golf, scuba diving or a shopping adventure you can rest assured knowing that your child will be safe in our care.

Kama‘aina Kids Sitters also provides at-home childcare for local residents or visitors. Whether you’re off to a meeting, a wedding or date night, you can enjoy peace of mind when leaving your children with our caring staff.

Kama‘aina Kids professional sitters will care for children, ages 6 weeks to 14 years. Our enthusiastic and qualified staff welcome your little ones to the Kama‘aina Kids ‘ohana, caring for them as they would for their own. Our staff arrive at your door in our blue shirt with Kama‘aina Kids lei logo and nametag. Staff will also bring a backpack full of fun – age appropriate games, toys, crafts and books.
