Homeless People in India,Urban Poverty in India,Urban Poverty Homelessness in India,Rights of Urban Homeless:------- IGSSS is a leading Non-Governmental Development Organization, which aims at helping the poor and needy people present in our society. We take the initiative to help those people belong to marginalized sections of society and make their life sustainable. We, at IGSSS, a Non-Governmental Development Organization, works for the Urban Poverty Homelessness in India and Rights of Urban Homeless, which hampers the life of people going through the difficulties due to the climate change and thus provide emergency response operations for the people. Indo- Global Social Service Society in a Non-Governmental Development Organization, are into medical sponsorship working for the poor and marginalized sections of the society and provide them the medical facilities and also give them medical insurance. Our role as a Non-Governmental Development Organization only aims at improving the conditions of the poor and raise them above the poverty line. The City Makers Program is designed to work towards improving the living conditions of urban Homeless People in India and poor Homeless Citizens. Our projects include shelter management, media advocacy, vocational training program, healthcare camps and the management of community kitchens, improvement of Urban Poverty in India.

Around 30 voluntary organisations formed a coalition – "Shahri Adhikar Manch – Begharon ke Liye" (SAM-BKL: Urban Rights Forum for the Homeless).Impact:-During the winter, 17 shelters were managed for the homeless (2 bamboo canvas shelters, 3 building shelters, 1 permanent shelter for women & children, and 11 temporary shelters). 500 homeless people were ensured 3 meals for 15 days during severe winter. Through this programme IGSSS is supporting 5 Non Formal Education centers covering 600 children.
