Tracking numbers must be retained and all damaged goods and packaging kept for later inspection by the carrier.Warranties – All products are sold with a full manufacturer’s warranty. Green Cone Ltd warrants each new Green Cone unit to be of good materials and workmanship and will repair or exchange any parts proven to be defective in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 10 years from date of sale, except as provided by the limitations below. The warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. A suitable proof of purchase, showing date and place of purchase must be made available to Green Cone Ltd at the time of request for warranty service.The Green Cone Ltd warranty policy does not apply to units that have been subjected to accident, abuse or misuse, shipping damage, alterations, and/or incorrect installation.Defects may only be corrected by, authorized Green Cone Ltd personnel.Green Cone Ltd assumes no responsibility for damage or injury incurred during installation or use of the Green Cone unit.Green Cone Ltd shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential or special (including punitive or multiple) damages.Delays and Back Orders – Most orders are processed the same day they are received. Find the right spotTry to site your compost bin on bare soil. If you do have to put your compost bin on concrete, tarmac or patio slabs, put a layer of soil or leave existing compost at the bottom to allow worms to colonise.

Use the right mixFill your kitchen caddy with everything from vegetable and fruit peelings to tea bags, paper towels and eggshells. Do not compost cooked food, meat or fish.

Fill it upEmpty your kitchen caddy and your garden waste into your compost bin. A 50/50 blend of green and brown is the perfect mix for making great compost.

Give it timeIt takes between nine and eighteen months for your compost to become ready for use.

Check it outWhen your compost smells earthy and looks crumbly and dark, like thick moist soil, then it’s ready to use.

Empty itLift the bin slightly or open the door at the base and scoop out the fresh compost with a garden fork or spade.

Use it Now you’re ready to use it to enrich borders and vegetable patches, plant in patio containers and feed the lawn. Don’t worry of your compost looks a little lumpy, this is completely normal.
