Being in the Home Business Industry can be a lot of work but it can also be very rewarding. The reality of this

industry is that it takes time to become a professional. Many people jump into it rather quickly and burn out

rather quickly. But if you can learn proper tools and strategies to growing your business the right way, not only

can you sustain your income, you can last for the long term.

So you have to ask yourself that question. Am I in this industry to really make it work from home, or am I trying

to make a quick buck while bypassing the learning curves?

If you stick with learning the skills long enough, eventually you will succeed. Everyone’s results vary and it’s up to

you how successful you want to be in this industry.

A huge reason I want to talk about this blueprint and why I created all the training on my website, is because I

was tired of watching people fail over and over. And tired of seeing people quit way too soon. When if they took

the time to learn the right skills, and lay a solid foundation for their business, they can gain mass momentum.

I don’t make any guarantees with any of my teachings, but I do know that this formula is not on trial. It’s been

proven online with hundreds of professionals.

A quick story. The very first time I was taught this, not only did it cost me thousands of dollars to learn, but thevery first time I implemented it myself I built the crappiest capture page and I did the crappiest video. The veryfirst weekend that I launched it through a traffic strategy that I am going to show you, I made $2,000 right out thegate, just like that. I was completely shocked that no matter how imperfect it was, that I could make that amountof money. I have done other capture pages that were beautiful compared to that one and didn’t do that well. Youjust never know what’s going to work or how it’s going to work.

I have a lot of examples to share with you from when I was first starting out, things that I still do now and thingsthat I did a year or two ago and things that I don’t do now.

If you are going to be in business for yourself you’ve got to constantly be reinventing yourself.

I am going to talk briefly about my blueprint.

It all starts with Traffic. You can do Facebook ads, solo ads, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn etc. There are a lot ofdifferent ways to market your business. The one thing with all of this is that these platforms do change and youhave to keep up with what is going on. This really isn’t that hard.

Once you learn your traffic methods, what’s next is all about turning your ad cost into profits using anestablished, proven sales system, that works for you 24/7.

Step OneStep One: Establishing Your TargetAudience For TrafficWhen building your home business online, you will need traffic to your business. Many of us are taught to talk to

friends and family, which is good but eventually you will run out of friends and family. Getting traffic is the first

step. You can get traffic through Social Media, Facebook ads, Solo Ads, Google, Blog, Websites etc. There are

endless places to get traffic and eyeballs in front of your blog or capture page.

First off, there is a strategy I used for many years and it’s called Solo Ads.

What is a Solo Ad:What is a Solo Ad:

Solo Ads are a way you can build your list very quickly. Basically you purchase traffic from agents who have

spent years growing their email lists. And they have build a very good relationship with their list. What they do is

charge you for traffic and send your business opportunity link through their list.

Why is this powerful?

Because their traffic has already been built up, all you have to do is purchase it. It’s a win-win in my opinion. And

it was one of the fastest ways I was able to recruit into my home business.

There are several strategies for getting good solo ads

One of the strategies I used in the past was Skype and Facebook groups. Now you can still do this but now I use

other traffic sources for solo ads. Setting up a Skype account is important. It’s also where you can find some

awesome Solo Ad providers for your website. One group I am in that you can join is called Kris Waters Internet

Marketing Group and another is called R-1-Solos.

Now I personally use a site to get only traffic from the US & Canada.

Don’t get me wrong, you can find awesome business partners and people in other countries, I just know that

most home businesses are in US & Canada.

You will have to ask your solo ad provider where most of the people are on their list from and how well they

respond to business opportunity traffic.

If you have a weight loss business it’s best to google weight loss solo ad providers ‘cause they are looking for a

health home business. It’s simple to do. Solo Ad providers have built thousands of emails on their list and it’s the

fastest way to give them your website link and they send you traffic. These emails they send you are people who

are looking for what you have, so it’s a win-win situation.

Choosing your target market. You need to know who you’re talking to and the audience you want to reach. There

are many people in the home business field and you need to know how to set yourself apart. If you don’t know

how to set yourself apart it is going to be a long time coming before you’ll see success, that is if you stay in the

industry long enough and don’t quit.

Too often most people move on to another 20 plus things and don’t stay focused and pursue what they have

started. When you do this it only increases your debt and you don’t stand a chance. You give up because you

don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

There are two types of networking, online and offline. There are advantages to both. You can connect and

you are which is a good thing.

You have to know who you are talking to when you’re building any business. That’s why we design our target

avatar that we are going to be marketing to.

What’s an avatar?Your Avatar is basically a person you defined out very specifically. It is looking at yourself in the 3 person. I.E. if

your name is Mary call yourself Sally and really start looking at yourself in the 3 person.

Who are you and what is your story? What kind of a person are you? What are your hobbies? How old are you?

Are you male or female?

An Avatar is NOT someone who likes a Topic and wants to learn more about it.

“My avatar is 32. Her name is Melissa, and she is a writer. She’s been wanting to start a blog for months now, but

she doesn’t know where to start. She’s a good writer, but she could really use some help on how to structure and

format a blog post – plus, she’s not really sure what exactly she wants to write about most of the time.

She is working part-time and earning her graduate degree online, so she’s usually studying up on how she can

start her blog on the weekends. Melissa lives with her boyfriend and they both want to travel more, hate their

jobs and don’t make enough money.”

My Personal Audience:My Personal Audience:

Heather who is a 35 year old married woman who has worked hard building other companies for almost 17

years. She is an athlete (which is her passion) but she’s always known that this would not provide for her long

term financially, and trading time for money.

She has experienced unemployment and being a new mom has decided not to go back to work. She no longer

wants her child in daycare 60 hours a week.

She started a business for herself and definitely had some success, but still found herself working endless hours.

By the end of the year between all the traveling, appointments, meetings and buying product, her business did

not profit the way she would have liked. So, she searched for other options.

She tried to venture online but with zero success and found herself in a situation where she ran out of time and

money. She’s broke, needs to make a decision and doesn’t want to go back to work.

That’s where having an online home business has solved all her problems.

Heather’s hobbies:Heather’s hobbies: Loves being with her family, working out, studying, reading the bible, spirituality,

personal development, listening to music.

Once your Avatar is created you need to give thought to the person you want to be speaking to through it, your

business. Define a specific person that you are looking to reach. I.E. A former executive who is now a stay at

home mom. She is educated, has been around the block a few times and she’s not stupid. She’s very driven and is

looking for other things in life. She’s had failures and has had successes.

You need to pick a specific person to talk to. If you are trying to talk to everybody, you wind up talking to no-one.This is something I had to learn the hard way. You need to pick the person you want to reach with what you’reoffering.

Here are some very powerful questions that I want you to ask yourself. I really want you to shut everything offaround yourself and think deeply on these questions. Make sure you get clear on who your Avatar is and whoyou’re going to be talking to or you’re going to have a very hard time marketing, especially online.

Questions to Ask Yourself:Questions to Ask Yourself: These are very intimate questions and you need to be very real with yourself

in answering them. The more real you are in answering these questions, the more people are going to connect

with you.

1. What keeps you/them awake at night? What keeps the person that you want to talk to up at night?

2. What are you/they afraid of? Being in debt all your life, that your business is going to fail, are you afraid

someone is going to hate you – what is it that you’re afraid of that others might be afraid of as well?

3. What are you/they angry at or WHO are you/they angry at?

4. What are your/their top 3 daily frustrations?

5. What trends are occurring in their life?

6. What are their deepest darkest desires?

7. Is there a built-in bias to how they make decisions?

8. Do they have their own language?

9. Who else is dealing with something similar?

10. Who else has tried to sell something similar but has failed?

This is all about you, “Who You Are and What Makes You Up.” In laying this out it then can become your Avatar

which will reach your target person. As you are real with yourself there are many out there just like you. People

who have the same thoughts and feelings, who have the same desires and hobbies, who have the same struggles.

You need to keep this very real. People are looking for what’s real.

Step Two: Step Two: Creating Your Message &The Power Of HeadlinesCreating your message has so much to do with your Avatar. Who is the person you want to reach with your

business?

The examples I am going to give here are all clients that I have worked with in the past or team members.

A headline is going to be how you are going to attract the right person to put it their name and email address to

get more information about your opportunity or your product. I really want you to get down a solid headline and

what this is going to do is that now that you understand who you are going to be talking to a headline is your

story in one little headline.

This is a headline that I used in my Marketing Mastery. This headline has changed many different times as my

story has evolved and my skill sets have evolved as I have continued to learn and grow. Nothing is stuck in stone.

Don’t feel like if you don’t get the message right no-one is going to opt into what you are doing. That’s a lie. I have

made so many mistakes and have still made thousands and thousands of dollars off of mistakes I’ve made. How I

made the money is because I followed the principles and I didn’t worry about it all being perfect. I was learning.

This is the Headline I used:

Now, if I were still doing a Health and Wellness company (this is something I did before I really knew anything

about online marketing) it would read:

There are so many headlines that can be created. You have to test and see what works best for you. What you’re

doing in creating a headline for yourself might be stating a problem (where you were or are at now) and have it

followed up by what the solution is that you’ve found or what success your having now.

Another example is:

“A Broke Stay At Home Mom Found A Financial Solution & Made $100 Her First Day“A Broke Stay At Home Mom Found A Financial Solution & Made $100 Her First DayOnline”Online”

When I first started online my very first video online (which wasn’t even that great, as I didn’t even know what I

was doing) said, how to make your first $25 online. It wasn’t how to make your first $50,000 online, but $25. At

that point and time, I didn’t know how to make $50,000. I have made now that amount repeatedly, but when I

first started out it was $25 and that was it.

I had tons of hits and opt ins on that one video. Why you ask? I was being real with people and I was genuinely

excited about it. People could feel my excitement. I also got tons of business out of that which led to thousands

of dollars. Don’t buy into the lie that it must be some crazy story about money that you haven’t made yet. You

need to keep it real with people.

The power of How To headlines is simply stating the problem or where you are and have the solution. You want

to speak to the pain. There are a lot of people who use, how to make sales online. In my opinion I would respond

better to say something like:

“How to not suck at making sales online and finally start turning your business around”“How to not suck at making sales online and finally start turning your business around”

You’ll reach people who will toss their arms in the air and say to themselves, finally someone who is going to

speak the truth and help me!

In what I have below I really want you to take the time and read what’s there. It is important that you understand

the importance of a great headline for yourself. Remember, you want to speak to the pain and create what

people want.

think about your Avatar, think about your problems and where you’ve been and your success right now. Is it that

Stick with me on this, I know it sounds too easy.

The simple, lowly "How to" headline is still tops in my book for simplicity and effectiveness. You really cannot go

wrong with it. The ‘how to' headline is so versatile. You can follow it with several benefits, a question, an offer,

almost anything - and it works great!

In fact, using the ‘how to' formula is one of the best places to start when writing headlines because it forces you

to think of what your product/service actually does for the person.

Here are a couple of winning examples to get your juices flowing:

* How to Collect from Social Security at Any Age

* How To Get FIVE Money-Making Websites In 29 Minutes Or Less...Without Spending A Fortune!

* How to avoid the biggest mistake you can make in building or buying a home

* How to cruise the world for $19 a day

Okay, but maybe the tried and true "how to" is too boring for you. No problem! Spice it up by adding a little

Mind mapping has taught me how to lay out solid online plans so that when I go to execute, it’s very successful.

A huge reason most people fail in any business or industry is because they have no plan.

How can God bless someone when they have no plan in place.

Most peoples planning are ideas that never turn into an actual plan on how to get there.

Mind mapping has helped me tremendously over the years put solid plans in place.

Now another area where people need a lot of help online is with tools. Most people don’t know how to use

different tools online, so I dive in and show people what tools work and what is worth investing into long term.

‘Cause let’s face it. If you are going to grow any business online, there is an investment. But I can show people

how to have a overhead of an online home business for less than a $100 a month. Now you also have to factor in

marketing other products with your home business, so you will want to add another $150. But think about it. If

you actually learned these skill sets right here. You could have a monthly overhead business for $250 a month

and still make over 6 figures. Wow. Isn’t that amazing?

Now if you think that is too much money to invest into a business, which could potentially make you 6 or more

figures, then you are in the wrong place.

As a coach and mentor, I spend a lot of time helping people overcome their issues when it comes to money.

Once entrepreneurs grow past the money thing, they are golden.

They recognize that the money thing is just a tool!

And when you tell money where to go and how it should be used, it will show up because it has a PLAN.

Next you need to have proper training on how to use online tools. This is where people get frustrated and quit.

However this is also why people hire me. Because I have the patience to teach them how to use tools on the

internet.

Landing pages are used for lead generation.The actions that a visitor takes on a landing page is what determines an advertiser's conversion rate.

Landing pages are often linked to social media, e-mail campaigns or search engine marketing campaigns in orderto enhance the effectiveness of the advertisements. The general goal of a landing page is to convert site visitorsinto sales or leads. If the goal is to obtain a lead, the landing page will include some method for the visitor to getinto contact with the company, usually a phone number, or an inquiry form.

If a sale is required, the landing page will usually have a link for the visitor to click, which will then send them to ashopping cart or a checkout area. By analyzing activity generated by the linked URL, marketers can use click-through rates and conversion rate to determine the success of an advertisement.

You need a landing page or a website to grow a business online and build your list so you can grow your

customer database.

Every business needs people to BUY what they have, and the fastest way to grow your email list is to build a lead

capture page to collect emails.

However there is a process that I teach inside of Home Business Freedom Formula that teaches you how to

properly build a lead capture page that’s targeted towards your audience. So you grow your list.

Your list is the most crucial skill to learn on the internet.

I know so many people who say they don’t want to collect emails and this radically shocks me.

What is an autoresponder? An autoresponder is a service which allows you to automatically send out emails to a

group, or to several different groups, of people.

The key things to know are that:

subscribers sign up to receive emails from you

once the emails are written, the sending process is automatic

using email in this way is an astonishingly effective way to communicate

To get started you will have to first sign up to an autoresponder service such as Aweber and then set up a list

within the autoresponder software for each group of people with whom you want to communicate.

For some people just one list is all they ever need but other people who use autoresponders may have multiple

lists to target different groups.

Gaining subscribersGaining subscribersNext you will want to invite people to join your list. Typically this is done by asking them to provide you with

their name and email address in order to receive emails from you.

So if you are a business the emails could be mainly about your business and any special offers you are running

while bloggers tend to send emails when they have written a new post (a good autoresponder will automatically

do this for you either every time you post or at a frequency decided by you.)

Sometimes people like to include a gift in return for people signing up to their autoresponder list (which is also

called a marketing list or simply an email list.) This may take the form of a discount on their first order, a free

report on the subject area of interest or some tips and tricks that subscribers may like to know.

Communicating with subscribersCommunicating with subscribersNow that you have names on your list you will need to talk to these people. After all they have given you their

email address for that very purpose.

Typically you will write a short series of emails which go out to each new subscriber in the days, weeks (or even

months) after they sign up to your list.

So if I join your list I might get a welcome email on day one, an introductory email on day two, something else on

day three and then more emails on day six, 12 and 18.

You write the emails once, set the frequency you want them delivered and then each time someone new joins

they get all your email series, in the order you wrote them and on the days you want them to get them. There is

no further action required on your part.

Your time is freed up to get on with the things you need to do

every single subscriber gets the same series of messages…even if you have 100 people sign up in a day,

nobody gets left out. (Try handling all that on your own without an autoresponder.)

The other cool thing is that you can send emails to your lists at any time you want. So if you want to inform your

subscribers about your new service which launches next week then write one email, press send, and everyone on

your list gets to hear the news right away.

Some autoresponders are free, but these tend to have limited functionality or may impose limits to how many

emails you can send or how many subscribers you can have on your list.

The paid autoresponders allow you to have more flexibility with how you communicate with your subscribers

and can give you more data you may find useful including how many people opened your emails or clicked on

your links.

Most paid services will charge you based on the number of subscribers you have – the price goes up as your list

size grows. RocketResponder has a flat-fee pricing structure so that you will always know how much you have to

pay and not have to worry about the numbers of subscribers you have.

Finally one common misconception is that autoresponders are only really useful for people who are working

online, but this is simply not true.

More and more offline businesses and organizations are using autoresponders to communicate with their

subscribers too. When it comes to efficiently sending email to groups of people then autoresponders are

indispensable and really cost-effective communication tools.

The next tool I use is a hosting account. A place that host my domains that I purchase from NameCheap.

Why do I need to host my domains to a hosting account?

Well for several reasons.

You will need hosting to have a website or a sales funnel. You will also need a domain name.

I like to think of domain names as the equivalent of your house's address. That's how people find you.

Then, there's your house. That's where you live, and you usually have to pay some money for rent or to own it.

With hosting, that's where your website lives, and just like a house, this space costs some rent.

The domain name is what people type in to their browser's window to find your website. Domain names are

often challenging to come up with as, they need to be unique, easy to recall, and somehow relevant to the

website they point to.

Another reason you need hosting is it’s extremely important to host your own email accounts with a web

address.

There are spam laws online and you cannot email people through a gmail, yahoo or any other email account. You

must host your own email and then you can have them forwarded to your personal email.

Autoresponders like Aweber won’t allow you to use your personal email in order to send emails out to your

customer. So you must host it through a web hosting like Host Gator which is another tool I use online.

This actual training is in my Home Business Freedom Formula as well.

I teach on this because very few people teach on it.

Everyone needs the basics and this one is a BIG one to learn. Most mentors won’t teach on the actual technical

side of this because it’s tedious and takes A LOT of patience. But I love teaching it because once someone learns

it, they are very empowered to grow any business online.

Each time you do a video the easier it will get for you, trust me.

For those of you who aren’t comfortable in doing a video I suggest you start doing this now. One of the things I

Calling leads from the cold market is a waste of time, if they are not targeted to your specific home business. And

you also must be very skilled in talking on the phone.

If you do Facebook LIVES, I would take those FB LIVES and download them onto YouTube.

FB and Youtube go hand in hand.

They are STILL the greatest search engines online compared to any other way people search for valuable content.

YouTube and Google are the same owner and FB is still powerful even though many opinions of people say FB is

going to get harder and harder.

I disagree.

Because if you truly operate in your gifting’s the way God designed it, your gifts will make room before great

people.

So don’t listen to anyone who doesn’t have what you want.

Listen to people who have victory in their life and who follow the voice of the Lord.

Then you may be thinking, well then I have to contact those referrals I got from a family or friend.

You are right.

And here is what you say.

Hey listen… I was talking to my cousin the other day and asked them for help. I’m not sure if this is something you

would be open to, but she said you may be open to making extra income from home. Can I share something with

you? Like I said, it may or may not be something you want to hear but I wanted to get this information to as many

people as I can.

Then you let the conversation go from there.

Look, you still may be thinking, Caity, I don’t want to pick up the phone and call anyone.

Here is my response.

Then good luck building any kind of business.

You will never stop connecting with people in order to be a successful entrepreneur.

Master this skill set and you’ll be making money for the rest of your life. Seriously.

Most people stink at following up with people, and also stink in the area of closing them into a sale or their

business.

Then they say…I don’t want to do sales Caity.

I say, then don’t start a business.

Every business requires some kind of transaction or sale to become profitable.

You need to have a product or service in exchange someone gives you their credit card info.

You have to give a call to action for them to buy something in order for you to make money.

So strap in and listen up.

One reason why people don’t like to follow up is because they have no system in place on how to connect with

people.

If you had good practices in place for appointments, you’ll be closing people all day long.

2. Don’t coach on an appointment - Appointments are used to find out how you can help and why they want

to start a home business.

3. Set a clear time and always limit the call. Don’t do longer than 45-50 minutes. Unless they are super

qualified to start a business, then you can spend a little more time.

4. Give them clear directions if they are ready to get started. Send them to your company presentation and

then make sure they get back to you within 20 minutes.

5. Establish in the beginning of the call that they are going to have a clear outcome of a decision and

whether or not you are going to work together.

6. Let them know what your team offers and all the resources they will receive. Also talk about Home

Business Freedom Formula and how this can help their business grow online.

7. Give them a reality check. That it may take 6-12 months to really get there business going with

momentum. But if they can stick with this for 2-3 years, they can consistently be making a 6 figure income

or more.

8. Let them know about your companies money back guarantee if they don’t like the products within 30

days. Typically every company has some kind of guarantee.

9. Close the sale: Create an urgency

10. After you enroll them into the business, get them started right away. Plug them into your team, introduce

So I suggest that you get with your company and keep your presentation handy at all times because a solid

presentation for your opportunity will make your break your home business.

Many of them are good but there are some presentations I see that are terrible.

Every presentation needs:

Who the company is

Where the company is going

Why they are in business

How this can help them

Testimonies of the product or business

And then a proper call to action to join

If it doesn’t have this and the presentation is just all about facts, then it will fail.

You need stories, you need inspiration, people need to hear a solid WHY about the company.

This inspires and people make decisions on emotions.

Now lastly, in order to really grow your Home Business, your leaders should be helping you connect with your

team members.

They should also be available to do a connect call for your potential team member.

There is nothing more powerful than when a leader gets on the phone with your potential team member and

shares their story.

Plus when they see a leader helping you grow your business, this builds trust.

Most people want to start a business and make money from home, but they also want to know. Will you really

help them succeed and not just throw them out in the wind.

The reason this industry has gotten a bad rap and people are wounded is because, there is not much of a solid

support system.

So a leader being available to share their story with your prospects goes a LONG way.

Step Eight:Step Eight: Incoming ProducingActivitiesThis subject is so important because how you do anything is how you do everything.

So creating a system for your business is a must in order for it to sustain itself.

Income Producing Activities is your daily habits and must do’s in order for your business to grow.

Every business needs a plan and everyone needs to know what produces income and what is a waste of time.

Let me share an example of my day:

1. Calendar: What are your business hours and what do you do in those business hours so you are

productive.

Monday-Fr i day: Monday-Fr i day:

Wake up 6:30 - Get my daughter up, make her breakfast, prepare her lunch and get her off to school by 7:15.

7:20-8:20 - Spend time with the Lord, worship and the word.

8:25, leave for the gym. Workout for one hour and return home by 10am.

Take shower, get ready for the day and my first appointment or client is at 11:30. Work until 2:30 and leave to get daughter by 3. 3-5 is homework time, then get her off to soccer.

From 6-8 I spend time taking connect calls, mostly spend time with hubby and prepare dinner. Sometimes I get

back in the word and prepare for what God is showing me on the next spiritual equipping message.

8:30-9 I go to bed OR sometimes I have a presentation, connect call.

Sunday evenings: Prepare my week

22 . What produces income: Video, blog posts, emails, going through applications on website, creating a sales

funnel to get more leads to an application, marketing on social media, creating some kind of call to action to get

people to my business or my coaching. Picking up the phone and following up with people. Starting a FB group

and creating value to people you want to serve in the marketplace.

3. 3. Planning your business: Thinking about a plan is one thing, setting a putting a plan into place is another.

4. 4. Putting goals in place: Setting goals gives you a target to reach for with your business. Just saying you want to

make money is not going to get you to the money. Actually setting goals and a deadline is what makes it happen.

So write down what you are going to accomplish each week. Not just in your business but in your life. Don’t just

be all about business every single day.

Set goals f your personal life and your family. How are you going to grow? How is your familygoing to do m e toge er? How are you going to live your life by design? You s , is isimp tant because if you don’t include your family in your business, you wi be miserable. And Idon’t mean ey wi be doing a business wi you, you just set goals around your business so yourfamily feels like you are doing it together. Most people fail in home businesses because people takeoff wi out eir family, leaving em behind. And en complain eir family doesn’t supp tthem. But if you include them in the beginning and share with them how you are going to changethe future, they will support you.

So each and every step I shared with you, I break down inside the Home Business Freedom Formula.

This system came to me from God.

He is the one who showed me how to streamline my business and how to build smarter and not harder.

He is the one that taught me the skills of putting systems in place so my wheels didn’t spin everyday.
