Here is my treatment on HIV/AIDS. Details of my condition: It was late June of 2009 when I tested

positive for HIV. For a while I was depressed, not wanting to see people or do anything. Being a that I spent some time in the Army, I was refered to VA Hospital for treatment. My doctor there ran test and determined that I had a high VL and a low T-Cell count but now low enough to start treatment. The Dr. told me that I could wait until my count drop lower or I could start treatment right away. I chose to start the treatment. After one month I went back for follow up test and my VL was undetectable and my T-cell count started to rise. I have been undetectable going on 4 years and my t-cell count is with in normal (without infection) ranges.

Side effects: I had side effects for about the three months. Mostly fatuige.

Other types of treatments: Currently there is a study going on for a function cure. I have signed up for the clinical trials. What it is, they will take out some of your CD4 cells, chemically mutate them to be resistant to the HIV virus, then reintroduce them to to body so they can repelicate. Similar to the Berlin Patient
