Historic Hotels of Europe is a gold-standard prestigious
network of 500 exceptional hotels, offering guests

The Historic Hotels of Europe annual Awards are the highest honor and reward given to a historic hotel. Each award validates the passion and dedication of the Historic Hotel hoteliers to the preservation of the European culture and history through superb hospitality.
Owning and maintaining a historic house is a challenge. Showcasing the history of the locale by providing excellent comfort and authentic service is a great accomplishment.
Each year, 10 hotels from the Historic Hotels of Europe collection are given the award. The collection that covers every corner of Europe and every type of guest experience: from palatial city breaks, to mountain hideaways in castles, culinary gems in manor houses, splendid beach estates, and legendary spas.
