SWITCH TO GREEN

HILATURASFERRE

HILATURASFERRE

After four generations in business, our company has moved into the 21st century with new challenge. In the throes of a far-reaching economic upheaval, corporate values have become increasingly important to society and to world markets.

Based on our most recent Strategic Plan we have taken action in many areas, one of the most important is our new corporate image.

Another key activity has been the task of communicating our values to clients, suppliers, internal and external partners and other stakeholders in our project.

SUSTAINABILITY is perhaps the most outstanding feature of our company, because it is a feature that underpins our business model, which is why we want to talk about it. This magazine is the first initiative we are taking to achieve this.

Our switch to a green image means we must strengthen our company's position in sustainable and recyclable textiles. State-of-the-art manufacturing technologies enable us to be competitive while offering high quality standards. We will continue to strive to lead the market and our team will do its utmost to provide excellent service that satisfies our clients.

For more information on what our company is doing in the SUSTAINABILITY area, please see the following documents: the Corporate Social Responsibility Report, Environmental Policy and Ethical and Professional Codes of Conduct, which are available on our web page, www.hifesa.com

That's all for now. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any suggestions to help us to improve even more. We trust our business relationship will become even stronger and more beneficial to both parties.

OURHISTORY"THERE CAN BE NO FUTURE WITHOUT TEAMWORK”

ALFREDO FERRE MIROPRESIDENTE

HILATURAS FERRE, S.A. was founded in 1947.

As a family business in the textile sector, but the company's history has even earlier origins in HIJOS DE ANTONIO FERRE, S.A., a company dating back to 1914 that manufactured hard fibres for technical use.

Members of the fourth generation of the family are still among the shareholders and in management positions.

The company culture is based on six essential pillars:

- Staff training as the foundations of the entire project.

- Investment in quality

- Technological innovation to enable the company to offer the best value for money.

- Specialisation in products based on recycled materials in line with an ecological ideal that guarantees the use of healthy materials.

- Alliances with experts give us complementarity.

OURPRODUCTIONPROCESS

CUTTING FIBRE

Hilaturas Ferre is a textile spinning mill equipped with state-of-the-art open-end technology and specialist know-how in colour yarn production using recycled cotton fibre. Most of the recycling process takes place on site. This consumes more than four million kilos of recycled cotton fibres every year.

We add synthetic fibres, such as polyester, to the cotton, some of which is newly manufactured and some of which is recycled from PET bottles or acrylic. Our products are sustainable and help to care for our planet.
