DESCRIPTION

The original Hiking Around Islamabad book from 1992, long out-of-print. Includes maps. Have left out the non-hiking bits (eg What to Wear etc.) There is a more recent 2008 'Hiking in and around Islamabad' book available from Saeed Book Bank (F7 Markaz, Islamabad) and the Asian Study Group - but the 2008 publication has fewer hikes and doesn't have maps (still recommended however). Is worthwhile orientating yourself using this book and Google Earth before setting out on any of the more challenging hikes - and take a GPS also. Enjoy!
