Book – Week Celebration

During Book Week celebration in school, Scholastic Book Fair

was put up in the school premises wherein students and parents

browsed the latest collection. Various activities were also

conducted during this time.

14\11\17: Story Telling workshop was organized for the

students of classes I & II. Ms. Sonia Duggal, famous Story

teller narrated different stories through puppets. All the

students got involved and they happily enjoyed the session.

16\11\17: Author’s meet was organized in school in

association with the Scholastic India Pvt. Ltd. wherein the

students got the opportunity to meet the famous children’s

author from Australia Mr. Ken Spillman. During the session,

the author talked about his life and how he never gave up on

his aspirations. Also, narrated his famous book Jake’s Balloon

Blast story and their characters. Children interestingly

participated in the session.

24\11\17:One Nation Reading Together program 2017 was

organised in school in collaboration with Scholastic India. In

thisprogrammestudents pledged to dedicate time towards

reading. Students as well as the teachers devoted half an hour

towards reading their favourite book on this day.

Events

8/12/17:Annual Day was organized at Talkatora

stadium with great zeal and enthusiasm students

spellbound the audience by an astounding visual treat

presented on the classical tale by Charles Dickens

A Christmas Carol – The Broadway Musical where students learnt the transformation from evil to

good. This soul stirring family musical with its

motivating message and unfailing trust in a happy

tomorrow was appreciated by one and all. The

melodious tunes and mellifluous music captivated all

and the colorful and vibrant dances and songs

reflected the hardwork and efforts of the participants

and the teaching faculty. The event was a huge success

and applauded by one and all.

20/12/17:Christmas was celebrated in school with

warmth, joy and exuberance. On the joyous occasion

students performed the Nativity play.Carols were sung

to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The school

Principal Mrs. Anupma Singh shared the words of

wisdom with children and encouraged all to follow the

values of life.

Workshop

15/12/17: Faber castel organized an Art workshop for

Art teachers at Amrapali Grand, Pusa Road. It was

attended by Ms. Chandani from primary school. The

workshop was very informative and interesting. It laid

emphasis on how art can be taught to the children more

effectively.

Competition

15/12/17: To sensitize students about the importance of

obeying traffic rules, Delhi Traffic Police organized an

Art competition for students under the School Road

Safety Awareness Campaign 2017-18. Khushi Khan

(V-D), Parnika (V-D) Anandi Dimri (V-C) were

appreciated for their efforts.

Rendezvous of World Poems

As a part of British Council, ISA project,

Group Recitation of poems from United

Kingdom, United States and India was

Organised.

Adding hues of colours to the recitation, an

intricate dramatization was also performed by

students of class I and II followed by a short

quiz based on their respective poems.
