HSI is only one, of two companies, capable of extruding and manufacturing sophisticated ePTFE films and membranes for coaxial cable and cable assembly applications

PTFE is a proven dielectric material intended to deliver low dielectric constants, low insertion losses, improved stability, as well as other unique electrical and/or mechanical characteristics.

HSI’s VP90™ ePTFE is manufactured in-house using proprietary tooling and expansion processes which produce microporous fibrous structures mostly comprised of air.

HSI’s VP90™ ePTFE is the gold standard in applied materials with numerous applications across a variety of end markets.

HSI controls the mechanical properties and resin, density, width and thickness of VP90™, which allows the Company to customize the dielectric properties and meet customer specifications.
