Fort Drum Family As many of us are aware there are Soldiers in our Formation whose families are in medical need of a donor; of either blood or bone marrow. Please help us take a stand against these curable dis-eases. Let us take care of our Battles both in the formation and those that stay home to watch our backs. Only 30% of the people who need a bone marrow transplant will find a donor in time. It can take up to 8 to 10 weeks to process a new register. Let's get these donations in. HHBN is working with the C.W. Bill Young Bone Marrow Donor Center to make the process as easy as that two mile run. On the 30th and 31st of May 2013 from 0900-1600 we are asking you to stop in to the USO here on Fort Drum, 10502 S Riva Ridge Loop Fort Drum, NY 13602 (315)777-8006, to spend ten minutes filling out a form, and getting four cheek swabs. That is all it takes to become a potential bone marrow donor.
