Heavenly Hands, Inc is a vehicle for homeless Teenage girls between the ages of 13-18 who reside in the impoverish areas

in the Chicago land area. Heavenly Hands, Inc is an 501(c)3 Not-For- Profit organization.

Heavenly Hands service mothers ages 13-18 and their children by proving key resources for self-sufficiency now and into the future. Our goal is to promote independent living for teenage mothers by providing hope, guidance and empowerment. A nurturing environment will help our mothers confidently pursue education, employment and financial stability for the short- and long-term benefit of their families.

A NEW INITIATIVEHeavenly Hands, Inc., “Make It To Work” Career/Work Development Program’s mission is to provide career resources and direct training for pregnant teen females or those who are currently parents.

Our program will ensure a full-time or part-time position after one year of training, professional development, life skills, networking and leadership training.

We plan to train young women in the following career paths:

WE PROVIDE A NEEDA survey of Chicago public school students from 2009/10 revealed 3,682 children who identified as being homeless and in need of shelter.Illinois has the third-highest rate of all states for teenage pregnancy among African Americans ages 15 to 19; each year 126.2 babies per 1,000 teens are born to African Americans.

In 2010, 4,775 homeless youth were turned away from youth shelters for lack of room. In 2012, for every 1,000 teens who are 15 through 19, there are about 41.5 births.

SUMMER CAMPFree Summer Camp Program in the Roseland Community. The Program consists of indorr and outdoor activities including swimming, sports, art, crafts, educational fun, singing, bonding and more. SUMMER FOOD PROGRAMWe provided free hot meals to children ages 1-18 years old and with disabilities in the Roseland community. Serving over 600 meals a day in the summer.

The Summer Food Service Program was instituted to provide nutritious meals to children during the summer months when school is not in session. The program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and administered by the Illinois State Board of Education.

TOYS-FOR-TOTSToys for Tots partner with Heavenly Hands, Inc. to collect toys for families in need and donated the toys to Heavenly Hands, Inc. to bless families in need during Christmas Season. We gave away toys to over 200 Children in need in the Chicago Land area.
