that we deliver, however if a course you require is not listed here please contact our Central

Administration office on 01536 414966, or email for information at: [email protected] to discuss

your requirements.

All our courses are fully certificated by appropriate bodies, or under specific legislation, dependant

upon the course type, we always train and certificate to the highest levels available ensuring compliance

with legal, insurance and lead body requirements, litigation avoidance and support, as well as delivering

useable cost effective ‘real world’ training.

Our aim is to assist clients to meet their Statutory Duties, whilst reducing accidents and improving the

health, safety and environmental management of your organisation - providing exactly the support you

need, when you need it. All courses delivered at your site, or delivered specifically for your

organisation at our training venues, can incorporate your individual policies and systems ensuring the

course is tailored to your operating needs, environments and activities.

As well as delivering cost effective quality training and services, HSCS specialists and staff work

closely with the HSE and accrediting bodies to design and develop Health & Safety standards and

courses, by being part of standards committees, lead bodies and advising HSE inspectors and EHO’s.

Our National Coverage, is exactly that, from the South of England to the North of Scotland and from

the East Coast to the West of Wales. With instructors, tutors and trainers strategically based around the

UK we offer a Local Service based on fully qualified trainers and staff centrally administered from

Kettering, Northamptonshire. We do not use casual staff of any kind, we can therefore ensure clients

receive the best possible quality service with realistic response times. The approach of a consistent

quality service also gives us the flexibility needed to react to our clients differing requirements.

Individual Care if our clients require services to encompass shift work, nights or weekends, we

Slips & Trips

Des

Slips and trips are often seen as a joke however in reality nothing could be further from

the truth. Slips & trips are the most common cause of major injuries at work. They occur

in almost all workplaces, 95% of major slips result in broken bones and they can also be

the initial causes for a range of other accident types such as falls from height. Legal

actions brought as a result of an injury can be extremely damaging to business, especially

where the public are involved. Insurance covers only a small proportion of the costs.

injuries are broken arms or legs. Some are more serious injury’s and some result in Death! The most

common area of the vehicle for people to fall from is the load area, followed by entering / exiting the

cab. You don’t have to fall far to land hard! Working At Height applies equally to working on a

vehicles / trailers etc. In law, work at height means ‘work in any place where a person could fall a

distance likely to cause personal injury if no precautions are taken’.
