About the AuthorsPete Carr is a professional photographer living near Liverpool in the UK.He had his first taste of photography at the age of 10 on a day course wherethey photographed the local town and developed their film in the dark-room. However due to film costs it wasnt possible to pursue it as a hobby.He went to university graduating with a degree in Software Engineering.His interest in Web design lead him to learn Photoshop and from thereexpanded his creative horizons. He bought a digital camera, and then adSLR with a bag of lenses. By the time he was a professional Web designerhe quit to become a professional photographer.He documents people, explores urban environments, and relaxes with locallandscapes. His work has been exhibited in various galleries including TateLiverpool, Open Eye Gallery, National Media Museum, and at AlbertDock. His work has also been published in magazines worldwide includingProfessional Photographer, DSLR User, and JPGMag. He published his firstbook in 2008, which included many photos from his award winning photoblog,Vanilla Days. Photography will never be just a job.Robert Correll is an author, photographer, artist, music producer, audioengineer, and musician. He loves taking photos and is a lifelong film anddigital photographer. His first assignment in the United States Air Forcewas as a photo interpreter. Robert now pursues photography and HDR pro-fessionally along with his other passions. He is a longtime expert in imageediting and graphics software such as Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, andCorel Paint Shop Pro Photo. He also retouches and restores photos.His latest published works include Photo Restoration and Retouching UsingCorel Paint Shop Pro Photo, contributing to the Official Corel Paint Shop ProPhoto Magazine, and writing Your Pro Tools Studio. Robert also authors cre-ative tutorials for the Virtual Training Company. His titles range fromMasterClass! - Adobe Photoshop CS4 HDRI to subjects covering CorelPaint Shop Pro Photo, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Sony ACID Pro,and Cakewalk SONAR.Robert makes his music on the electric guitar and bass and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degreein History from the United States Air Force Academy.
