H&C Concrete Sealer Solid Color Solvent-Based is an opaque, waterproofing sealer formulated to bond with concrete or masonry surfaces. It provides a long-lasting yet decorative finish. This product is to be used on exterior surfaces only. Formerly known as Silicone Acrylic Concrete Sealer, H&C Concrete Sealer Solid Color Solvent-Based is available in over 30 tintable colors, and a variety of popular prepack-aged colors as well as a clear which has a gloss finish.

Easy, 3-step application is resilient for years of wear and tear. Shield-Crete is permeable; meaning it allows your concrete to breathe while resisting hot tire pick-up. No induction, or sweat-in time is necessary, just mix and apply. You can pull your car back into the garage in 3 days, while other epoxy kits require 7 days before vehicular traffic. It is resistant to chemical agents and damage caused by gasoline, brake fluid, standing water and battery acid. Shield-Crete cleans up with just soap and water.

H&C Shield-Crete Epoxy Concrete Garage Floor Coating Kit is a 2-part epoxy kit that is durable as it is beautiful. A unique formulation requires minimal surface prep while providing excellent resistance to hot-tire pick up. Shield-Crete Epoxy Concrete Garage Floor coating is the premium choice in garage floor epoxies. Shield-Crete can also be used on basement floors, or any interior concrete floor. It can be used in some full outdoor applications, but the sun’s UV rays may diminish the gloss finish, as well as fade the color over time.

H&C Shield-Crete Epoxy Garage Floor Contractor Kits cover up to 1000 square feet. The kit comes with everything you need for that large commercial or industrial project (Deco-Flakes, however, are sold separately). Contractor kits are available in pewter and beige only.

H&c® Shield-crete® Holographic and deco-Flakes


Shield-Crete Deco-Flakes provide a unique decorative finish to your Shield-Crete Epoxy Concrete Garage Floor project. They are available in 5 blends: Pewter, ivory/beige, red, green and holographic. A one-pound bag is included in every Shield-Crete Epoxy kit, however they are also sold seperately if extra flakes are desired. The one-pound bag is sufficient for every 200-250 square foot area (a one-car garage), at about 25% coverage. The flakes are vinyl, a form of latex, so they are extremely safe to use.

Since no chemical reaction takes place, there is no extended waiting time for color to reach full development. H&C Semi-Transparent Decorative Stain penetrates the inherent porosity of cementitious products to produce vibrant color. Color may be “built up” without the worry of spending all the alkalinity, as with acid stain. H&C Water-Based Semi-Transparent Decorative Stain saves time on the job with no rinsing, no mopping, no neutralizing, and no residue.

H&C SL-40 silane water repellent is a high performance water repellent that penetrates into the substrate and provides long term weatherproofing protection. It’s a single component product that is ready to use and typically requires only one application. SL-40 will not darken the surface or leave a visible surface film. SL-40 penetrates deeper into the surface to chemically react with and bond to it.

H&C SX-7 siloxane water repellents are designed to weatherproof old and new concrete and masonry surfaces against natures destructive forces. It provides a long lasting breathable barrier that resists cracking, airborne dust and dirt, salt, efflorescence, and spalling. SX-7 is a 7% siloxane.

SL-40 silane water repellent is a proprietary 40% Silane that penetrates into concrete and an excellent moisture inhibitor. It will not change the traction or skid resistance of horizontal surfaces, and doesn’t require masking or cleaning of windows. H&C SL-40 Silane Water Repellent prevents efflorescence leaching, and prevents attack of deicing salts and chloride ions. Drums are available upon request.

SX-7 has zero VOC’s, is a water-based formulation which allows for safe application in occupied buildings. The substrate will continue to breathe after the coating is applied.

H&C Etching Solution removes efflorescence (al-kali salts) and can also reduce the pH level of new concrete and new mortar joints. This product is also safe to use indoors (basement floors, interior concrete floors), should the project warrant it.
