“ Alarm! Handwriting is dying” - German newspaper Bild reports that 1 in 6 adult hasn’t written anything with pen and paper for 6 months.
The use of handwriting is gradually decaying as people are more and more relied on computer and smartphone.
Unlike digital copies, which can be wiped away easily. Handwriting lasts for years and years with proper care.
As long as you have a pen and a paper, you can jot something down, record your thoughts whenever and wherever you want. Never worry about running out of battery or losing your data with a burnt hard drive.
Many studies have shown that not only handwriting aids in the process of cognitive development of schoolchildren, it also helps with memorization. (You write it down so you don’t have to look at what you have written!)
There are many writing instruments to chose from. Many of them are not only beautiful to look at, but they are also fun to collect. The extra fine nib in this fountain pen can also work as a self-defense tool, in case of emergency. Just poke!
Handwriting is a beautiful form of art and self-expression. Please don’t let it decay. All you need to do is take out pen and paper and jot something down!
