1948The amazing discovery of Hook and Loop was first made in 1948 by a Swiss Engineer. During a walk in the country with his dog he noticed how difficult it was to detach the barbs (seeds) of the cocklebur plant from his clothing and his dog. The Swiss engineer also being an inventor took a closer look at this extraordinary plant. From this he observed that the seeds -sac was made up tiny hooks which attached themselves to clothing fibre, animal hair and human hair. Thus came about the invention of Hook and Loop, a simple but very effective fastening system now used throughout the world.

1948C’est un ingénieur suisse qui, en 1948, fit la découverte étonnante de la bande agrippante (Velours crochet). Lors d’une promenade champêtre avec son chien, il remarqua à quel point il était difficile de détacher les barbes (graines) de la bardane de ses vêtements et de la fourrure de son chien. Etant aussi inventeur, cet ingénieur suisse étudia de près cette plante extraordinaire. Il observa que les sacs de graines étaient composés de minuscules crochets qui se fixaient aux fibres de vêtements, aux poils des animaux et aux cheveux des humains. C’est ainsi qu’il inventa la bande agrippante, système de fixation simple mais très efficace, aujourd’hui utilisé dans le monde entier.

1948Die faszinierende Entdeckung von Klettverschlüssen erfolgte 1948 durch einen Schweizer Ingenieur. Während eines Spaziergangs auf dem Land mit seinem Hund fiel ihm auf, wie schwierig es war, die Kletten zu entfernen, die an seiner Kleidung und an seinem Hund hängenblieben. Da der Schweizer Ingenieur außerdem ein Erfinder war, schaute er sich diese außergewöhnlichen Pflanzen genauer an. Er stellte fest, dass der kugelige Samen aus winzigen Häkchen bestand, die sich an Textilfasern, Tierfellen und Menschenhaaren festhielten. So kam die Erfindung des Klettverschlusses zustande, eines einfachen, jedoch überaus wirksamen Befestigungssystems, das inzwischen in der ganzen Welt verwendet wird.

1948La straordinaria scoperta della chiusura in asola e uncino avvenne nel 1948 da parte di un ingegnere svizzero. Durante una passeggiata in campagna con il suo cane, l’ingegnere notò quanto fosse difficile staccare dai suoi vestiti gli uncini dei frutti della bardana che vi si erano impigliati. L’ingegnere svizzero, che era anche un inventore, osservò minuziosamente questa pianta straordinaria e notò che il ricettacolo dei semi era munito di minuscoli uncini che si agganciavano alle fibre dei tessuti e ai peli degli animali e degli umani. Fu così che venne inventato il dei asola e uncino, un sistema di chiusura semplice, ma molto efficace, consistente in una striscia di tessuto ad asole e una striscia di tessuto ad uncini, ora diffuso in tutto il mondo.

1948Niesamowita historia odkrycia rzepu (haczyka i petelki) miała miejsce w 1948 roku przez szwajcarskiego inzyniera. Podczas spaceru ze swoim psem zauwazył on, jak trudno było oddzielic kolce rosliny ostu od jego ubrania oraz od siersci psa. Szwajcarski inzynier postanowił blizej przyjrzec sie tej niezwykłej roslinie. Zauwazył, ze oset składa sie z małych haczyków, które przyczepiaja sie do włókien odziezy, siersci zwierzat oraz ludzkich włosów. W ten sposób doszło do wynalezienia rzepu, prostego, ale zarazem bardzo skutecznego systemu mocowania ,obecnie uzywanego na całym swiecie.
