The 4 hour road trip was primarily along National Route #3. passing the towns of Croix-des-Bouquets, Mirbalis, Thomonde and on into Hinche.

There are two watersheds in Haiti, one in the north near Cap Haitien - the other near St. Marc, about two hours from of the capital of Port-au-Prince.
