    SPECIFICATIONS FOR MAJOR PROJECT REPORT (CSE/IT)

    1. Report shall be computer typed and printed on good quality white executive bond paper A4

    size paper according to following text specifications:

    Normal Body Text: Font Size: 12, Times New Roman, Single Spacing, Justified. 3point above and below paragraph spacing

    Paragraph Heading: Font Size: 14, Times New Roman, Underlined, Left Aligned. 6

    point above & below spacing.

    Chapter Heading: Font Size: 20, Times New Roman, Centre Aligned, 12 poinabove and below spacing.

    Coding: Font size: 10, Courier New, Normal

    2. The Report shall be hard bound in black color. The name of the candidate, degree

    (specifying the branch), roll no, session, year of submission, name of the Universityincluding college name shall be printed in golden color on the cover [Refer sample sheet

    (outer cover)]3. The report shall be typed on one side only with 1.5 spaces with a margin 3.5 cm on the left

    2.5 cm on the top, and 1.25 cm on the right and at bottom.

    4. In the report, the title page [Refer sample sheet (inner cover)] should be given first then the

    declaration by the candidate(s) in sequence, followed by an abstract of the report (not

    exceeding 1500 words). This should be followed by the acknowledgment, list of figures/list

    of tables and then contents with page numbers. All text pages should be numbered at thebottom center of pages.

    5. References and Bibliography should be included in report. Format is written below:

    Books:

    [1] Author surname Author Name, Title of book, Place of Publication, Publisher, Year oPublication, Number of pages referred from ________to_______

    Magazine & Journals/ Newspaper

    [2] Author(S), Title of__________, Volume Number, Serial Number, Year of issue, Page

    6. The diagrams should be printed on a light/white background; Tabular matter should be

    clearly arranged. Decimal point may be indicated by full stop (.)The caption for Figuremust be given at the BOTTOM of the Fig. and Caption for the Table must be given at the

    TOP of the Table.7. Conclusions must not exceed more than two pages.

    8. The student will submit his/her project report in the prescribed format. The Project Reporshould include three hard Copies of the Project Report
