It’s a Global Community Development Program(GCFP) created by the Local Committee of theUniversity of Costa Rica.
HOW DOES ITWORK?
WITH WHO?WHAT IS GROWING SEEDS?
People around the world come to Costa Rica to make workshops in different areas: Crafts and plastic arts; Music, Singing and Dancing; Basic English;Environmental; Sports and Physical Activities; Theater.
Children of a community in a difficult economical and social situation.
WHEN?From 18th Dec to 26th January, with a week off from 31th Dec to 08th January.
OUR AIM
WHAT IS GROWING SEEDS?
Make a change in children lives teaching themabout different cultures and activities for theirintegral growth, we want to plant little seedsin those kids!
JOBDESCRIPTION
WHAT IS GROWING SEEDS?
You will have to conduct workshops about a specific topic to a group of children, not only teaching about it but also giving a plus showing them human rights, values,giving a intercultural experience and hope for them to become great leaders for their community.
You will have to develop your own workshop, making them very entertained, dynamic and creative. Besides, the workshops will focus weekly in showing a different culture to them, so be prepared to show your own andadapt it to the workshops will be working with.
You should have experience or skills in
YOUR TEACHING TOPIC and most
important you have to BE A LEADER!
