• To perform the details survey on the selected areas

• To produce large scale digital map from objects.

PROCEDURE

Produce Initial sketch of survey area

Assign codes for survey features.

Identify and record occupied point and backside point.

Record coordinates of the features. Download collected data into

computers. Use AutoDesk to produce Digital Map

of survey area.

RELIABILITIES Poor visibility of prism.

Imprecise coordinates of survey features.

Insufficient battery life.

MODIFICATION

Decrease numbers of simultaneous survey.

Strategic positioning of Total Station.

Prepare sufficient battery beforehand.

Conclusion

-Learnt to operate survey equipments

-Plan out data recording-Produce digital map of the area

using AutoCad Land Desktop 2009
