Greg Schowe, Sales AssociateUnited Country – CommercialBorn and raised on the family farm in east central Missouri, Greg knew at an early age the definition of hard work and an honest living. After high school Greg applied the traits learned on the farm and enlisted in the U.S. Navy for 6 ½ years where Greg’s assignments included two tours aboard the USS Tripoli, home ported in San Diego, CA, Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf and Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Greg reenlisted and spent the remaining time repairing fast attack submarines at Sub Base, Pearl Harbor, HI. After military life Greg decided to pursue the mortgage and real estate industries. Since 2003, he has been licensed to sell real estate. His emphasis started out in the apartment industry and later bridged over to include retail, office and gas stations, and businesses. His attention to detail and his honesty are just a few of the traits his clients have boasted about Greg. He also believes real estate is a relational business which is proven by the fact that many of Greg’s clients have relied on him in multiple transactions and call him on a regular basis to get his feedback and in depth knowledge about current trends and analysis of the commercial real estate market. Greg’s clients include banks, corporations and individual investors. Recent awards include 2013 St. Charles County Association of REALTORS Commercial Member of the Year and 2014 National Association of REALTORS Commercial Recognition Award. Greg also has become the 1031 Exchange expert in the Midwest and has taught the subject to attorneys, CPA’s and real estate professionals since 2004.

Greg’s passion of helping veterans continues as he currently serves as President of God Cares, a privately funded nonprofit group that provides financial aid and resources to veterans who are unemployed or homeless. He is also a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars(VFW) Post 5077. Greg and his family currently live in O’Fallon, MO. Greg’s hobbies include golf, baseball and spending time on the family farm.

Kurt Hollenberg, Broker/OwnerUnited Country – CommercialKurt’s involvement in the family farming operation for the past 30 years has provided a strong foundation for his work as an agent dealing with agricultural properties. Working in the real estate business since 1996, his knowledge base has expanded to include development, commercial and recreational properties which often involves situations focusing on planning and zoning, 1031exchanges, government programs, lease options, and wetlands mitigations among others. In 2006, Kurt's first year with United Country Missouri Land & Home in Columbia, MO, he ranked 23rd in the nation with the franchise. Kurt is now broker/owner of United Country Missouri Land & Home and United Country - Commercial. The recent office awards received under his guidance further illustrates his professional care and expertise with each project, whether it be a traditional real estate or auction listing. During his leadership, in 2009, the company was awarded the United Country Master Salesman. In 2010 & 2011, the office was ranked respectively as the #2 & #4 United Country franchise nationwide in total sales volume. And most recently, the Columbia office was named the #1 office in the nation in 2012 and the #2 office in 2013 and 2014. With a continuing focus on growth and customer service, Kurt and his commercial team formed an additional Columbia, MO office, United Country-Commercial in 2012. Kurt also serves as the corporate United Country Real Estate’s National Farm Director. He is also a member of the Rural Land Institute (RLI) serving as the President-Elect for the Missouri chapter.

Dan Duffy – Chief Executive OfficerUnited Country Real Estate & United Country Auction ServicesDan Duffy joined United Country as part of a successful effort in February 2006 to secure growth capital to support the expansion of the United Country system. He serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his role as CEO, Dan is principally responsible for the establishment and execution of a long-term strategy for United Country designed to deliver competitive advantage to United Country franchisee partners as they operate in their local markets and serve their clients.

Prior to joining United Country, Dan spent nearly 20 years focused on serving clients in a number of senior executive positions. Most recently Dan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft’s “2005 Global Partner of the Year” and largest North American Microsoft Business Solutions partner with over 20 offices serving 12,000 clients across the United States and the U.K. Prior to his tenure in the technology services market space. Dan was a key member of the Chicago practice of The Center for Strategic Transactions, a division of Ernst & Young L.L.P., providing strategic and corporate finance advisory services to Fortune 100 companies as well as high growth technology, product and services organizations across multiple industries.

Kevin Oldham – Chief Marketing OfficerEnhanced Marketing Solutions® (a wholly owned subsidiary of United Country Real Estate)Kevin Oldham brings over 20 years of marketing and advertising expertise to the United Country team. Mr. Oldham is a co-founder of one of the nation's largest real estate focused marketing firms. He was responsible for development and roll-out of an international marketing team of professionals specializing in all facets of marketing including: media planning, media buying, strategic campaign development and execution, digital marketing (SEO, SEM, web development, social media and e-marketing), graphic design, research, event marketing, direct marketing, public relations and branding.  His team has won of 30 real estate auction marketing awards from USA Today and the National Auctioneers Association.

Prior to joining United, Oldham co-founded another marketing firm that catered exclusively to real estate developers, offering strategic solutions designed to generate traffic for their projects. Prior to this entrepreneurial ventures Oldham offered marketing services for Kansas City’s largest residential real estate broker and for AMC Entertainment where he was instrumental in launching Virgin Mobile in the United States. Oldham earned his MBA from Baker University in 2007 and is the recipient of a 2012 Rising Star award from KC Business magazine celebrating business leaders under the age of 40.
