– President Obama’s Economic Stimulus package calls for 875 billion dollars government spending. Among it, 295 billion dollars is allocate for Green Jobs.

– Obama’s “American Recovery & Reinvestment Plan” is to aim to save or create 3 to 4 million new American jobs and make the long-term investments needed to build a 21th century economy.

– A renewable energy economy isn’t some pie-in-the-sky, far-off future. It’s happening all across America right now. It’s providing alternatives to foreign oil now. It can create millions of additional jobs and entire new industries if we act right now. Green jobs are the key.
