Greece

Greece is a small country in the European Union, with a population of about 11 million.

Greece is strategically located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa. Its capital is Athens, and it is one of the most populous cities of the country.

It is known for its mythological and ancient monuments as mausoleums and temples, its interesting museums, old churches, and mosques.

The moussaka is one of the Greek dishes, a Mediterranean type of cuisine that never fails seafood.

The climate in Greece is different depending on the area where we are, in the south there is a Mediterranean climate, but in central Greece it is colder in winter.

Its official currency is the Euro as in Spain and elsewhere in Europe.

In Greece they speak its official language, Greek, although if we go there, we perfectly understand English. People also study English, French, or German at schools.

Lots of people from Albania, Bulgaria and Romania live and work in Greece. There are also people from Russia and Syria.
