INTRO Before I get going, just out of curiosity, I want to ask “how many of you have heard at least something about the Wildlife Action Plan?” What I’m going to do is, First, talk briefly about Why we created the Plan and describe the purpose of the Plan. Second, I’ll tell you a little bit about what type of information is in the Plan. Third, I’ll talk about how we’re going to Implement the Plan, in other words – how will we be putting it into action on the ground. And Finally, I’ll bring the focus to how the plan relates to wetlands. I’ll share some of the specific conservation actions that are identified for some of the wetland types, and then show how some of these actions might fit into the performance measures for the wetlands strategy.
