INTRODUCTION
The workshop has been specially designed for the students of architecture in particular, interested in learning the
professional techniques of presentation using architectural graphics with perfection along with the portfolio
development exposure
The event offers a golden opportunity of ‘Learning through Fun’. The participants are expected to be from different
institutions, making the event of regional importance and value. The students from National College of Arts, UET
Lahore, UET Abbottabad, Comsats Institute of Information Technology, CECOS Peshawar, Beacon House National
University Lahore, IVS Karachi, KU Khi, PU Lhr, DCET, NED, BBUITMS Quetta are highly encouraged to participate.

The venue of the event is a facility operated by Heritage
Foundation, a Base Camp set in the mountains of Scenic Valley
of Chattar Plains, established and patronage by renowned
Architect Yasmin Lari (Sitar-e-Imtiaz). The venue is equipped
with modern & hygienic tents, and has all the facilities of a
conference room, multimedia equipment, broadband DSL,
necessary for the program.

This is the 2nd event after the great success of Graphico – I, held at the same
venue between the dates of 23rd June – 30th June. A group of 20 students from
Comsats Islamabad, UET Abbottabad and BNU Lahore participated in it and
were awarded certificates signed by Architect Yasmin Lari.

PROGRAM
The event program has been carefully designed to achieve the objective i.e. ‘Learning Through Fun’. The program
director has given special emphases on the methodology and format of the proceeding, in terms of exposure to
students to the field works prevailing in the outside world with focused activities planned for practicing different
techniques of architectural graphics and presentations.
Similar to the first event, starting from the sumptuous healthy breakfast, everyday proceedings shall include learning
sessions during the day, with intermediate tea breaks and lunch servings, continuing till another post lunch session.
Later afternoons, evening are planned for energetic outdoor activities such as hiking in pine trees etc. Post dinner
activities have several options such as movie screening on multimedia projector, tambola night, card/ board games,
introducing sheesha based chat interactions etc. A separate day has been specially planned for an excursion lunch to
a neighboring valley such as Dadar, Kodar etc along cold water streams for picnic and photography session. The last
night termed as ‘Grand Finale’ has been planned as a Bar B Q night with live instrumental music.
