00 Series Openers are designed for min-till fluted feed drills. The 00 opener features 13-1/2", 4mm blades mounted on 205 triple lip sealed bearings. The 00 opener has a 1/4" lead opener blade. A rear depth-controlling gauge wheel uses a T-Handle adjuster with 18 depth settings.

This row unit is a “beefed up” 00 Series Opener with a stronger opener body, heavier down pressure springs, 15" 4mm blades with 1/2" offset that allows better penetration

in denser conservation planting conditions. Cast blade separators and optional Keeton Seed Firmers® complete this heavy-duty row unit.

06 and 07 Series Openers feature an integrally mounted coulter and row unit combination with the opener moving independently of the coulter. The trailing

double disk opener features 13.5", 4mm blades, 205 triple lip sealed bearings, and has a 1/4" leading opener blade.

10 Series Openers are min-till openers with parallel linkage designed for tough drilling conditions. They feature 13-1/2" blades with proven 205 triple seal bearings and 1/4" blade offset. The parallel arms have an effective travel of 10" top to bottom when planting.

Versatility describes this opener from Great Plains. The 10HD Series Opener uses 15" 4mm blades with 205 triple lip seal bearings and 1/2" blade offset, cast blade separators,

and Clear-Shot® Seed Tubes. Heavy-duty 160- to 350-pound down-pressure springs are mounted on Great Plains’ parallel arm linkage. This unit allows fluted feed (10HDF),

Singulator-Plus™, or Population Max™ (10HDP) singulating options.

Great Plains’ 20 Series Opener is an excellent choice when planting in stale seedbed environments. Much like a planter row unit, this opener has 2" side depth wheels to provide extra flotation as well as reduced soil “blowout”. Available with Singulator-Plus™ (20P) Meters, it can either singulate or volumetrically meter seed. This row unit can also be used with fluted feed metering (20F). Row spacings are as narrow as 7-1/2".

The 25 Series Row Unit makes narrow singulated rows possible. Heavy torque tube design parallel linkage offers up to 500 lbs of down pressure. It uses 15" 4mm opener blades with 1/2" offset for improved penetration.

Cast blade separators and Clear-Shot® Seed Tubes provide excellent delivery of seed to the seed trench. Available with Air-Pro® (25A) Meters or interchangeable Population Max™ or Singulator-Plus™ (25P) Meters. Fluted

feed metering (25F) is offered on certain models.

Each Great Plains Opener has been computer designed, CNC machined, laser cut, and robotic welded to ensure exact tolerances and excellent reliability. Purchased components must meet the same high-quality standards.

KEETON SEED FIRMER® - Keeps seed in bottom of seed trench. Firms the seed into soil for good seed-to-soil contact so the seed can absorb moisture quicker and get out of the soil faster.

AIR DESIGN SCRAPERS - Feature a special tungsten carbide cutting edge that will outlast and outwear standard scrapers. The aggressive scraping action is ideal for higher residue and moist conditions.

SEED-LOK® - Spring-loaded wheel presses the seed into moist soil at the bottom of the seed trench, pro-viding excellent seed-to-soil contact. The result is even emergence since seeds are planted and firmed at the same depth.

2" x 13" SINGLE - This design presses soil directly over the seed, aggressively firming the soil surrounding the seed at the precise depth selected.

1" x 12" DOUBLE-V - This design closes the seed trench with an aggressive “pinching” action. It provides excellent depth control in most soil conditions.

3" x 14" PEAK - This design presses a deep furrow with a defined ridge to capture snow and rain, helping to reduce wind erosion in lighter soils and arid climates. Note: Recommended for arid areas only.

3" x 13" CENTER RIB - This design firmly presses soil directly over

the seed with the center rib of the wheel creasing the soil. This crease

allows the crust to crack open for even seed emergence.

WEDGE - Combining the “Best of Both Worlds,” this wheel design closes seed

trenches with an aggressive tapered edge while its large “footprint” allows it to stay on

top of loose soil.

SINGULATOR-PLUS™ - Another exclusive, this meter is the best singulating meter for soybeans available. Quick change meters can accurately meter sorghum, rice, cotton and wheat.

POPULATION MAX™ - This corn meter features a Kevlar impregnated backing plate, Skip Stop™ cushion, a new adjustable precision brush, and a SureFire® belt that puts the seed in the middle of our exclusive Clear-Shot® Seed Tubes.

AIR METER - Air velocity can adversely affect seed flow on non-pressurized systems. Great Plains’ Air Carts overcome this by pressurizing the tanks, which allows seed to flow normally through the meters and into the air flow without blow back.

AIR-PRO® - Meters load seed in the seed disc with air pressure. As the seed rotates, it enters the brush area; air is cut off and is then mechanically held in the seed disc until it is “dead dropped” directly into the Clear-Shot® Seed Tube. This results in consistent "dead" seed drop, unlike competitive vacuum meters that have “early” and “late” release, which affects spacing. (25 Series Only)

The end wheel design makes the 1206 extremely maneuverable. By keeping all ground-working components in line with the end wheels, openers are prevented from sideloading when working on rolling terrain and contours. CONSTANT HYDRAULIC DOWN PRESSURE - Constantly maintains pressure throughout the opener’s entire range of motion. Active hydraulics keep the openers in uniform contact with the soil in uneven conditions and varying soil types. This feature optimizes seed placement at all times.

Our 24' and 30' Pull-Type Drills utilize a field-proven design that is ideal for the toughest no-till conditions. They feature our 10 Series Opener and Coulter combination to precisely place seed in the bottom of the seed groove for maximum emergence.

Accurate depth control is provided by the direct link press wheel’s 18 depth settings in 1/4" increments. The 2.1 bushel-per-foot seed box minimizes fill time

while maximizing productivity; plus the drill’s wide, stable walkboard offers both safety and convenience. These units come standard with point-row clutches that allow the operator to seed with one-half the drill width to save seed costs. Options include high flotation skid steer tires, shaft monitor, Keeton Seed Firmers®, flat-fold marker, seed box agitator, and two-bar spike harrow.

The Great Plains 3N-4010F Drill is designed to meet the demands of today’s large-scale no-till farmers. This workhorse is built around our 10 Series Openers.

For seed metering, the Great Plains 3N-4010 units use the simplicity of our proven 1-3/4" fluted feed cup. It comes standard with the Veris® Hydraulic Drive to allow on-the-go seed rate changes and full GPS compatibility. Although the unit folds to a narrow 14' 11" width for easy transport, all of the gauge wheels remain on the ground, keeping it stable and safe.

The 3N-4010F Drill can be equipped with optional spring-loaded, frame-mounted coulters for additional protection from stones. Because coulters can be added at any time, these machines may also be ordered without coulters to reduce soil disturbance and cost.

The 10HD opener offers 15" 4mm blades running on 205 triple-lip-seal bearings. Inside is a cast blade separator, protecting the planter-style seed tube that precisely delivers seed to the same

spot each and every time. Parallel arms keep the attack angle on the opener the same – regardless of terrain. Between end-to-end box flex and the floating hitch, this unit covers even the nastiest terrain with accuracy and ease.

Sometimes BIG things do come in small packages… and the Great Plains 20' and 30' Narrow Transport Air Drills are no exception! The NTA-2007 is a highly productive air drill designed for the mid-sized farmer. Its 20' of working width offers three cart configurations: seed only with a single 150-bushel hopper; seed and dry fertilizer with two 82-bushel hoppers; or seed and liquid fertilizer with two 200-gallon tanks and a single 82-bushel hopper. The NTA-3007 offers a working width of 30' and two 100-bushel hoppers for bulk seed and/or dry fertilizer applications. These units feature a flexible 2-section (NTA-2007) and 3-section (NTA-3007) design that folds to under 10' for easy transport from field to field, and utilize our 07 Series Opener, an integrally mounted coulter row unit combination with

The field-proven design of the 30' (NTA-3010) and 35' (NTA-3510) No-Till Air Drills by Great Plains centers around a direct link between the implement and the cart. This integral design features the implement semi-mounted to the cart, al-lowing them to raise and lower independently as they cross undulations in the field. The hy-draulic weight transfer system further enhances flexibility and ensures equal weight is distrib-uted to all rows.

Our air drills utilize a spring- loaded coulter that is

separate from the row unit to aid in penetration. This feature allows the operator to set the coulter depth for residue and moisture conditions while the independent opener provides precise seed placement in all conditions from severe no-till to conventional.

Dimpled towers randomize the seed in the air flow while the transition cone at the top of the tower gently changes the seeds’ direction, providing even seed distribution to all rows.

TRANSITION CONE - Ensures smooth transition of seed into individual tubes, eliminating seed dam-age associated with competitive drills.

NARROW TRANSPORT - The 3N-4010HDA provides an innovative folding design that tucks nicely behind the tractor and is only slightly wider than the outside duals on most tractors.

HIGH FLOTATION - The implement is carried on six (6) 18 x 22.5 tires, providing increased accuracy and reduced field compaction.

FLOATING HITCH - Provides superior terrain following because the unit covers the terrain independently of the tongue.

Use of the 10HD Series Opener has been expanded to include the 3N-4010HDA No-Till Air Implement. This implement utilizes a

floating tongue and 12-degrees of wing flex up and down to follow contours and negotiate uneven terrain.

The heart of this implement is the parallel linkage 10HD opener with over 10" (25.4cm) of vertical travel, 15" (38.1m) 4mm disk blades, and heat-treated blade separators to provide an accurate seed furrow. The planter seed tube and T-handle depth wheels make sure the seed is planted at a

consistent depth for even emergence. This versatile opener has up to 500 pounds (226.8kg) of down force and may be used with or without unit-mount coulters. Opener options include unit-mount or frame-mount coulters, choice of press wheels, Keeton Seed Firmers®, and two different scraper options.

One of the best ways to increase the efficiency of your farming operation is with a Great Plains Air Drill. Because our air drills feature large central-fill hoppers, they allow you to plant more acres in a day than a box drill of equal width.

The CTA-4000 & CTA-4500 implements come equipped with either the standard 00 Series Opener or the 00HD Heavy-Duty Opener. The 00HD option features 15" (38cm) 4mm-thick disk blades, a planter blade separator, and seed tube to accurately place seed. A 30% stronger spring provides up to 245 lbs (111.1kg) of penetration force to allow for operation in minimum till and light no-till conditions. An 18-position T-handle depth-controlled press wheel ensures accurate seeding depth and closing of the seed groove.

The Center Pivot Hitch is designed to turn your basic 3-point drill into a fully featured no-till drill, complete with adjustable-depth coulters. The CPH allows you to choose between having the drill rigid or float independently of the hitch.

Precision Fertilizer Hitches take hitches to the next level of no-till seeding with the addition of 400 gallons of fertilizer and a highly accurate fertilizer pump (fertilizer system optional). Coulter height is independent of seeding depth.

Provides plenty of power to lift even fully loaded and optioned out 3-point drills. Slide blocks reduce friction and make components last longer, while spring-loaded hydraulic cylinders absorb transmitted shock.

The rockshaft lift gives this unit plenty of lift capacity to pick up a full planting unit plus 400 gallons of on-board fertilizer. The dual 12.5L tires are designed to straddle 30" rows. Automatic pivot locks engage when fully raised to the transport position.

Gauge wheels are adjustable to match your row spacing.

Originally designed for the rigors of sub-soiling, the Great Plains Sub-Soiler Hitch is quite capable as a tough 3-point pull package. The SSH can turn your 3-point no-till drill or other 3-point implements into pull-type machines – no longer requiring the normal hassle of hooking and unhooking to the tractor’s 3-point hitch. The rugged design allows it to handle equipment up to 15,000 lbs. Optional 300-gallon fertilizer tank is available.

Hydraulic Weight Transfer - To increase the coul-ter depth, simply shorten the tongue cylinder. The unique design of our Center Pivot and Precision Fertil-izer Hitches transfers weight from the tractor to the coulters to aid in penetration.

Center Pivot Design - Great Plains is the only no-till system that plants properly on curves and contours. Our CPH (Center Pivot Hitch) and PFH (Precision Fertilizer Hitch) aligns the coulters with the openers for perfect tracking. As the

illustration demonstrates, the pivoting coulters on the competitive brand cannot maintain proper tracking.

Double Coulter Bars - The Double Coulter Bar design of our CPHs and PFHs provides a full 10-3/4" of stagger between the coulters. This offset enhances the level of residue that can pass unobstructed through the coulters.
