Grad Nite is SDA’s Seniors’ LAST Party, ALL together!

SDA is decorated and transformed into a giant party place with games, food, lounges, 100s of prizes, casino, karaoke, climbing wall, DJ, laser tag, breakfast served at 10pm….and much more.

The #1 rated event at SDA.

Grad Nite is for SDA seniors only: June 15th, from 8:30PM until 2:00AM

WHERE: Graduates should be dropped off and will check in at the SDA

Student Parking Lot between 8:30PM - 10:00PM. WHEN: Pick up by a parent/guardian (carpooling encouraged) in the SDA

Student Parking Lot on Saturday the 16th, as follows:

2:00AM for grads with last name starting with A – G 2:15AM for grads with last name starting with H – O 2:30AM for grads with last name starting with P - Z

2018 GRAD NITE COUNCIL SAN DIEGUITO ACADEMY FOUNDATION

CODE OF CONDUCT & GUIDELINES

1. Only San Dieguito Academy seniors may attend. If you purchase a ticket and do not graduate, you will still be able to attend. There are no refunds for no-shows.

2. Any graduating senior who is removed from graduation ceremonies for inappropriate behavior will

not be allowed to attend Grad Nite. The ticket price will not be refunded.

3. Any use or possession of alcoholic beverages or illicit drugs is prohibited and will not be tolerated. Any illegal activities (under-age drinking, sale or possession of illicit drugs) will be immediately reported to police. Parents will also be notified. The Grad Nite Council reserves the right to employ a breathalyzer at its discretion.

4. Any use or possession of tobacco products is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Parents will be notified immediately to pick up any graduate who does not comply.

5. Graduates will only be admitted between 8:30PM and 10:00PM on the evening of graduation.

If you must arrive late or leave early, special arrangements must be made prior to June 15th with the SDA Foundation at (760) 753-1121 x5152.

6. Unruly graduates or graduates refusing to follow rules or chaperone instructions will be detained until

a parent arrives to take them home.

7. Dress is casual, but in good taste. Wear your Grad Nite t-shirt and get extra raffle tickets.

8. Graduates are not allowed to drive to and from Grad Nite. Transportation to and from Grad Nite is the responsibility of the graduate’s parent or guardian. Graduates must be dropped off and picked up by a licensed adult driver who is not an attendee.

9. No backpacks or purses will be allowed. Graduates may bring personal belongings in a clear,

gallon sized plastic ziploc bag. There will be room to check the plastic bag and a jacket or coat. Graduates are encouraged to bring only essential items. No money is required.

10. Any items brought to Grad Nite are the sole responsibility of the graduate. SDAF, the Grad Nite

Council and its volunteers will not be responsible for any loss or damage, even if items are checked.

11. All participants attending Grad Nite are subject to search.

12. Graduates will not be allowed to leave and return to Grad Nite once they have checked in.

13. Parents/Guardians will be notified no later than 11:00PM if their graduate fails to arrive at Grad Nite.

14. In the event of illness, graduates will only be released to the custody of a parent or guardian.

Agreement and Waiver We have read the San Dieguito Academy Foundation Grad Nite Code of Conduct and Guidelines and agree that ___________________________ will behave consistently within the stated guidelines. We understand that parents/guardians will be called by 11:00 p.m. at the number(s) listed below if the graduate fails to arrive at Grad Nite. We agree to release the San Dieguito Academy Foundation, the Grad Nite Council and all its volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, and causes of action of any kind and hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify the San Dieguito Academy Foundation, the Grad Nite Council and all its volunteers, and San Dieguito Union High School District, its Board of Trustees, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, actions, or causes of action of any kind arising from the above named graduate’s participation in Grad Nite activities, including but not limited to traveling to the event, attendance at the event, participation at the event and traveling home from the event. We understand that San Dieguito Academy Foundation, the Grad Nite Council, and all its volunteers, by providing a Grad Nite celebration conducted in accordance with the attached guidelines, are providing a service to SDA graduates and their families, and we hereby voluntarily provide this waiver of claims. MUSTANG LEGACY PROJECT Registration Form

San Dieguito's Mustang Legacy Project gives you a chance to "leave your mark on San Dieguito" in a location on campus. You may engrave your name, graduation year, or a special message onto a brick that will be part of the school for generations. Due to iffy construction schedules we cannot guarantee an installation date for bricks sponsored after bricks sponsored after October 2016. Your brick WILL be installed, but we are unsure as to WHEN. We’re shooting for fall 2018.
