Registration Process


Below is a sample of the email invitation a supplier receives. It is

an invitation to create an account in the Ariba Network (AN) and

register to be a Grace supplier.

The supplier will Click Here to sign up on the AN and answer the

registration questions.

Once the supplier follows the link in the email the supplier is redirected to

the Ariba website. The supplier can click “Sign up” to create an Ariba

Network ID, or click “Log In” if they already have an existing account.

The supplier must choose either option to access the registration

questionnaire and submit their responses to Grace.

If the supplier chooses to Sign Up they will be directed to create

an Ariba account. Below is an example of the information required.


Grace Supplier Registration Questions

After an account has been created, or the supplier has signed

into their existing account, they will be directed to complete the

Registration Questionnaire. Below are the questions included.


After the supplier signs up and enters the required details on the

registration questionnaire, the supplier submits the registration. The

registration must then be approved by a Grace Approver. Below is the main

supplier dashboard where the status of the registration is shown.

What does it mean when a supplier is Registered?

• When a supplier is registered on the Ariba Network and with Grace

• Participate in Sourcing Events via Ariba (RFP/RFQ, etc.)

• Interact and exchange contract drafts via Ariba

• Move forward with any qualification questions and surveys via Ariba

• Review Risk Assessments via Ariba

• When a supplier is only registered on the Ariba Network and Grace, we

cannot…

• Issue POs (no vendor ID is created)

• Receive invoices

Not every supplier will move past the registration process.

Questionnaires are sent to the suppliers as part of the qualification process

via the Ariba Network. The goal of the qualification questionnaires can vary

depending on the type of supplier (examples below)

The supplier will receive email notifications inviting them to complete

the designated questionnaires. For indirect suppliers this will include the

Supplier qualification questionnaire, and may also include an Indirect

Certification of Insurance, and a Supplier Code of Conduct.

In the above example of a Registered Supplier’s dashboard you will see there are two

questionnaires to be completed.



After the supplier completes the requested questionnaire(s) there is an

internal approval workflow within Grace (example below).



After the approvals are completed the supplier will receive an email

notification confirming they have been successfully qualified.

Once a vendor has been qualified as a Grace supplier they are able to:

• Receive and Confirm Purchase Orders from Grace

• Submit Shipping Notifications and Invoices for Grace purchase orders.

Grace may also designate a Qualified Supplier as a Preferred Supplier in the future. The below graphic

displays the Supplier Lifecycle within Ariba.
