Environmental group Widien Artna has called on the government to continue rehabilitating WiedIl-Qlejgha.The valley, also known as Chadwick Lakes, is very popular with families and it was importantthat the works that had already started in the area continued, according to Independent MPJeffrey Pullicino Orlando.Dr Pullicino Orlando, who, with Labour MP Noel Farrugia, is one of the group’s foundingmembers, said it was positive that the authorities started works on the walls.However, even rubble walls that had been recently built had collapsed.This situation was unacceptable and disappointing, the group said.timesofmalta.com
